I got these to put on my Beatle-style violin bass. It's a short-scale bass, so the strings are a bit long, but they seem to work fine.

These strings are nice. They have a low tension and so far they are fairly bright for flatwounds. They should break in nicely. If These fall apart or have problems I will edit my review. So far the they are perfect.
