This is a scraper for light work, not to be used as a shovel, I was able to get my sprinkler wire buried in moist ground till the lower section broke at the seam, I was able to use the steel blade and replace the handle, I still think the blade alone is a bit pricey, I gave 3 stars for the blade alone.

This is an addition to my snow shovel. When ice arrives, a sharp blade is needed to scrape the ice from sidewalks and driveways. This tool does the trick. Works great!

love it , love it.. best investment i ever made.. cut through the ton of ice i had in my parking space like butter.. also love the fact that after winter is over i do not have this 5 foot tool standing around taking up space or falling over as you can break it down into 4 pieces, to store on a shelf out of the way

Scraping ice off the driveway has never been easier until now. This tool is very effective in what it is designed to do. Very tough, durable, and gets the job done. Handle is long enough to keep that back pain away. I highly recommend.

We get bad ice in spots since we live in the mountains. I used this to chip away around 4 inches of ice. It worked well but the sections will unscrew sometimes making me lose grip.

The blade has a nice 45 degree slope to facilitate ice removal. it removes ice very efficiently.

This tool works very well. It is both lightweight and sturdy. We had an ice storm and it was the only tool that could break up ice and shovel it away. My sidewalks and driveway were very clean. I even used it on my deck.

My husband has been using scrapers at work for icy conditions for many years. He decided to get one for home use and was surprised how expensive scrapers are. Many things are expensive today, but scrapers just seemed way too costly.He bought this one unsure of how good it would be, but since it was relatively inexpensive (just under $30 including Tax), he decided to try it. He figured he would just return it if it was not good enough. Well, it worked great! The scraper quickly popped ice off our driveway that a shovel would have had great difficulty doing. A shovel would've taken much more time and would not have done nearly as good a job.He was not sure if he would like the handle. He wanted a wooden handle and this comes with a stainless steel three piece handle- 4 pieces if you count the short piece of handle that is on the blade. Well, he now likes the handle because it is very sturdy and since it is portable, can also be easily stored in the trunk – or anywhere for that reason.

I didn't include any pictures of mine because the store pictures are accurate.This tool is truly worthy of praise. The blade is thick and tough. The handle sectionsconnect easily, without any fiddling around. The handle itself is pretty strong and feelslike it will last a good, long while.My intended use is as an ice breaking, removal tool for my driveway and sidewalk. Theblade on mine is ground to a concave arc that dips in the middle, making the corners contactfirst. That's great for ice, but would need a bit of a regrind for use as a floor scraper.I like the ability to break it down into shorter ranges although I may never need to do that.This scraper is a good tool for straight scraping, or cutting. I would not use it in any "prying" situations.The handle, while quite strong, would likely deteriorate at its joints if used as a pry bar.It's easily worth the money and I'm glad I got it!
