I am sure this is a great item for welding, but I used it to put on my smoker in cold weather to hold the heat in.. Much cheaper than official smoker insulators and works well. Seems very durable

I have purchased a couple of these now. They are great for welding or any heat work really. Fireproof and really flexible, very handy and durable. One of mine has taken an absolute battering and still works just as well as my new one. Would recommend

Works better than the fancy bbq blanket's. Keeps bbq pits at needed temp especially on cold days. My Pit is double insulated I use curtain for extra help keeping cooking temperature. I like it the price is affordable.

I have this fiberglass welder blanket under the wood stove in my tent and it serves the purpose I intended to use it for. Handle it with gloves, the fibers will stick in your skin and make you itch.

I used this welding blanket in conjunction with the Docsafe 36” round fire pit blanket to put under a 24” round smokeless fire pit. The pit is on a finished wooden deck and there was little to no heat transfer through to the wood. Very happy with this product.
