Application of aluminized heat shield barrier in roof insulation
Aluminum foil has poor air permeability, especially for oxygen, water vapor, and light-shielding performance, which can form heat reflection, and also has the characteristics of shape retention and rigidity.
Paste the aluminized heat shield barrier on the roof of the car. For the sake of beauty, only paste it on the roof of the car. It is not visible when standing on the ground. When pasting, it should be applied in a cool place. Clean the roof with alcohol and paste the car with aluminized heat shield. The roof will form a large area of mirror reflection and heat reflection, which will reduce the temperature inside the car under the sunlight. I bought this to insulate the back side of my air fryer cabinet as well as the top. The materials. Easy to work with cuts well and the adhesive works like a charm.

Work as described, and very cheap. Reduces temperature measurably on non contact areas, hasn’t burned up or fallen off yet. Adhesive seems sticky enough but this will be a surface by surface bases, doesn’t help to bust out some adhesive in a bottle if you know it’s gonna be permanent.

I installed a small solar controller panel in my truck cap and wanted to have some heat protection behind the controller. This material was pretty durable and has good adhesion. It looks good and hopefully I won’t have to know if it really works. LOL.

We stuck it to the top of a tall board that touches the floor so that the aluminum starts where the burners are & extends upward. I have cases of water stored on the other side & worried about a fire hazard. It worked out real good. No worries now.The adhesive works great on our wooden board.

These heat shields are easy to apply, cut to size if needed, and they work fantastic to protect my walks from excessive heat from our small oven. I think they are easy to clean with a damp cloth. They look nice, like a professional installed them. We're happy with them.

This heat shield material is great, I used it in the interior walls of a furnace ( not in contact with the heat tubes) to replace the deteriorated fiberglass aluminum liner. The heat resistance is phenomenal. And the thinner size actually created more room in the heater for air to pass through., and is less resistant to air movement than the fiberglass was.

Place it on a starter to protect from engine hedder heat.It was excellent to work with.The adhesive work very well easy to mold. The thickness was perfect for molding. Will have to see on the durability, can say at this time but looks strong enough to last.Building a classic car, not finish yet. Size good buy for the money.

Nice product. Looks good, feels good, easy to cut and good adhesive backing. Unfortunately I can not say the same about its actual heat shielding properties. I'm using this as a heat shield on the underside of a shelf in a hifi stereo rack to protect the equipment on top of the shelf from a hot power amp on the shelf below. There is about 2 inches of distance between the top of the amp and the underside of the shelf where I applied the heat shield. The shelf is open on 4 sides so there is ample space for air flow. The top of the upper shelf is still getting very hot. It is a few degrees cooler than the top of the amp, which I would expect with the 2" air gap and the air flow. I guess I had expected a bit more of a heat deflection and shielding effect, but perhaps this is not the right kind of application for this product. It looks very professional though! :-)

I installed this under my engine cover in my Coachmen Class A motorhome just before leaving on our trip from Florida to Missouri. In the past the heat coming off the engine fought with our cab ac and the noise drowned out the music. By lunch time when we stopped at the rest area just north of Tampa we were convinced it was much better and comfortable. By the end of the day in the Florida Panhandle we were truly impressed. It was another 90 degree day, but we were more comfortable than ever before. They said it would cut down the heat by 90%. I can't swear it did that, but when I put my hand on the side of the engine cover it only felt warm, not HOT! I was even more surprised by the sound deadening since the product is not very thick. It cut the noise by more than 50%. I highly recommend this product. It was easy to install as I cut it into 24 inch lengths and laid it on the inside of the cover. The top of the cover stayed cool with just the insulation from the factory. You might want 2 packages depending on your size you need to cover. I'm buying another one to do some additional sound deadening in other areas.
