Robust Designs for Superior Quality

This printer seems nice at its price point. Printer is easy to use, print quality is great. Wifi works well. Enclosed case muffles most of the printing noise. Have not had any heat transfer issues. The flash splicing software works great.

This is overall a pretty slick 3D printer, and it ultimately works as advertised. I own a lot of 3D printers and have been doing this for a long time, so the fact that I was able to simply open the box, do some basic unpacking/setup, then hit print and it works- well, let's just say that 3D printers have come a long way. It is fast, accurate and the enclosure makes printing so much easier, plus it reduces noise and fumes with the built in filtration that actually appears to work quite well. It is also a very handsome unit that looks very professional, especially when lit up by the internal lighting. One of the best features is that it is quite heavy- a lot of these super fast CoreXY printers are too light, and the intense speeds of the hotend can cause them to move around. But this one appears to be heavy enough to resist the movement and vibrations, so the printer doesn't move around and as a result you get cleaner prints. It is still a good idea to put it on a heavy, solid surface, but it is much less of a pain than some other printers.I don't love the Flashmaker slicer software, but Flashforge now has good integration with Orca slicer, which is very welcome since you can control the printer via wifi or LAN. I have yet to try it with Cura and Prusa slicers, but my understanding is that support for those is improving as well. But really, Orca will be able to handle pretty much anything you need, aside from some extremely advanced settings that probably would never be touched by someone using a printer like this.My biggest complaint is how the nozzles work. As with some other popular CoreXY printers on the market, the nozzles are permanently attached to a hotend, and you can just quick swap them without any heating or unscrewing and fiddling around. While this is a nice convenience, the replacement nozzles are around $30 each, which is a lot (for reference, a standard hardened steel nozzle is typically around $1). This isn't a serious issue for a lot of materials, but it will get expensive if you print a lot of abrasive materials and need to frequently change nozzles. But this design seems to be a popular way to handle nozzles these days, and the convenience certainly is there, so it really depends on your use case. I have to admit, I do wish I had known this beforehand, I may not have gotten the printer since I consider this a pretty serious flaw. There are some replacement hotends on the market that use traditional 3D printer nozzles, but I have yet to try one. But if those work as intended, it would make this printer significantly cheaper to operate, and solve my only real problem with it.As long as you aren't bothered by the proprietary expensive nozzles, this is a pretty impressive device! It would be a good starting point for a beginner, or a relatively hassle free machine for an experienced user who wants something that just works without too much trouble. Overall, I'm impressed!

I'm not new to 3D printing. I'm up to 15 printers of various makes and models including many CoreXY models. I've been printing with this printer for about 48 hours straight and I can safely say it is one of my favorites by far for printing higher temp filaments.I picked this up specifically to print ASA/ABS, PETG, and TPU, and from the very first print it's, just worked. The very first thing I noticed was the build quality. The AD5M Pro just FEELS solid. Nothing is loose or rattles. Door hinges are tight, and seal well.Setup was really easy. Just unpack the printer, remove the foam packaging. Screw in the filament holder. Remove the screws holding the bed in place for shipping. Plug in, turn on, go through the setup, load filament and boom. You're printing.Like i said before, I got this printer to specifically do some high temp printing because it comes with a filtration system specifically made for filaments like ABS and ASA which can produce fumes. With my other printers, I've had to run DIY filtration systems or open windows when the weather allowed to be able to use these types of filaments. With the AD5M Pro, I didn't have to do that. It clears up MOST of the smell and fumes by using its own internal filters, not all, but most. There was still a slight odor, which was to be expected, but the filtration system really does seem to work.As far as quality and speed, print quality is very good. Speed is equivalent to my K1 and X1C, so no surprises there. When printing PLA, the quality is on par with my Bambu printers. What surprised me was the quality of the ABS and PETG prints. This printer will produce some really good prints with high temp filaments. Much, much better than with any of my other printers including the Bambus'.Noise levels are low. Definitely much lower than my K1 and X1C. You can have the AD5M Pro in the same room and not be bothered by it.The slicer uses a customized version of Orca slicer which was nice since it's familiar, and comes with presets for this printer and the standard filament types. All of the presets seem to be calibrated well, and I didn't have to make any adjustments there. All in all, I can't wait to really put this printer to work over the coming weeks and see what I can produce with it!

Read the reviews to this before buying it, and thought for the price why not.Straight out of the box, undo the retaining bolts for the bed insert the LCD display (which is a fiddly ribbon cable) and basically your are off.The included filament is good quality, but needs to be wound on to something, as it's loose and knots up. So its worth using a spooled filament. The prints I am getting are faultless, auto bed leveling is amazing (this is the first one I've had with it).Heats up very quick. Prints really fast. Certainly worth the purchase, for me anyway.

Totally happy with the product. Assembled very quickly and started to print straight away. Print quality is very good, but to print at a full speed good quality filament required.

This printer is easy to use and straightforward to setup. This was my classrooms and my first printer. Its a pretty large format printer with a large build platform and alot of room on all axis. It wont run as fast as my bambu carbon, but it doesn't need to and i actually love the flashforge slicer even if it is lavking some advanced support features. This machine WILL NOT work with cura or any 3rd party slicer without you being extremely computer savvy. You'll have to manually alter g-code text. But i doubt youll need to unless your a very advanced user. The print bed has an extremely sticky build plate, and i reccomend glue so you can remove your prints without damaging the textured plate. I love this machine and have had very minimal issues even after 1000 hours of printing. Ive only had to replace consumable items like nozzles and do rputine maintenance. This machine is more reliable than my $1000 bambu. It will not print nylon as the hot end simply wont get hot enough, but nobody claims that it does so no worries.Buy it and get into this awesome hobby!

Speed and print quality are both phenomenal. Bed adhesion has been perfect when the bed temperature is set correctly first layers have been great. Also really impressed with the support flashforge has shown for this printer adding many features and accessories since I purchased. The only downside to this printer is how loud it is, the heatsink fan is much louder than it needs to be as the airflow slots in the print head create a lot of turbulence. The part cooling fan is also a monster and the loudest part of the entire machine. I would recommend the bambu lab A1 mini over this if you're looking for a desktop printer unless you really really need that extra 4cm print volume in each axis.

Well I have only had this printer for a couple of weeks. There a little understood the way the directions were written and drawn. But I got it and am very pleased with the printer. I have used the Flash Forge before doing software training and it is great so far.Biggest take away, learning the best way to remove prints, PRE-HEAT base after it is done printing.
