My doctor prescribed this after a sprain with fracture.my thumbs are unusually shaped.thumb screws won't work.it got caught on a jack handle that kicked.this brace gives support and stability.i have two as backups.for i can still be busy.

Very disappointed in this item. Very low quality and very little thumb support. Would not reccommend.

does the job--well designed. This support won't let you move your thumb in directions that would cause tendon pain.

The arm portion support is too small a curve to fit comfortably on my arm. I plan on returning the product.

Use this appliance on both hands during routine swim workouts due to arthritis in thumb joints. Doesn't hinder swimming in any way. Keeps hand pain down to bare minimum. They hold up for at least one year in chlorine water.

The cartilage in my thumb is worn out causing great thumb/wrist pain. This was recommended by my orthopedist. Only problem is that I keep losing them.

This didn't cover my wrist the way I thought it would. It would pinch my arm and wasn't very comfortable. However, I guess it kept my arm stabilized and the price was pretty good.

This is the best thumb spica on the market. Why? 1. It is a universal fit; will fit any hand size. No messing about with measuring tape to figure out what size your hand is. Plus, many vendors won't take back opened packages...how can you know if a specific size fits unless you've opened the package to try it on! 2. Confines and stabilizes your thumb so that it can rest and no materials cut or are tight around the thumb to cut circulation. 3. Easy to wash. 4. Quick to dry. 5. Excellent price. The fancy-priced pharmacy I got my first spica cost a lot more. Bought this one on Amazon as a backup at a good savings. 6. Not as bulky as the others on the market, which make you look like you're wearing a baseball glove to work. It arrive in about a week. I'm very pleased with this spica!
