So much better then the original cable. Now it stays up out of the way and does not drag on the ground. Put one on every trailer I have.

We used these for our ski bikes as most mountains are requiring riders to have a leash on the bike. They work well, they are visible (really important so you don't have to point it out to the lifties every time) and they clip to the bike and my belt buckle pretty well. They have just enough stretch to not be annoying or get in the way.

This brake release couple is good and it shipped quickly. I thought it would be a little beefier (hence the 4 stars) but it works as described. I would purchase again.

So I have teens and they're constantly warring over remotes. We don't even have cable but they still get wildly territorial in the weirdest ways. Enter these brake leashes. I drilled small holes through the casing of my universal tv remotes (don't do this, it's dangerous, I'm not responsible for you hurting yourself trying to do this because I'm telling you no. No one can open a battery compartment, remove the batteries, and look through the battery gaps to find a corner in the casing that has no components in which to drill a small hole through. Nope. It's not safe don't do it. No one recommends this at all. I'm a terrible human in line for a Darwin award.) in order to put in a simple key ring or zip tie. Then I (didn't) attach it to the key ring at the end of this leash. Depending on how committed your shenaniganizers are to their, well, shenanigans dictates the next move. For the TV remotes I used the latch to attach the leash to a nearby shelf or comfy chair to ensure they stayed in the living room. For my fan remotes? I took off the silver latch thing and straight up bolted that shiznit to a stud in the wall. Only freaks and well adjusted adults (see also geeks) can manage to hold onto those suckers without some preemptive tracking efforts, these straps make it so much easier for the rest of us normies. No metal cords ensures zero sharp frayed parts from tug o war fun. I love how they coil back to position- keeps things tidy. Seems good and beefy for it's intended use but honestly I have no idea if they're good for that. Disclaimer- do not try this at home children. Never use anything for something other than what it was sold for. Ever. Thanks for reading.

One of the biggest pet peeves I had with pulling a trailer was the darn emergency trailer brake cord. The law requires these to apply the trailer brakes if the trailer ever comes loose from the tow vehicle. The cord that comes with most if not all trailers is a twisted metal cable that immediately begins to fray. I was always getting scratched by the cable and it would soon break and need replacement. When I saw these I immediately had to try them. It has now been several years and on 4 trailers I tow, I have not had one of these ever begin to deteriorate. I have never been scratched since! I highly, highly recommend these to anyone with a trailer.
