I broke the cable that attaches to my trailer break so I bought this to replace it. Seems to be working great and the clips are smaller than what I was using before which is nice and makes connecting it much easier.

I purchased these for two trailers. I wanted a brake line connection that didn’t dangle down and get it in the way. I have previously pinched the brake line between the jack and the ground damaging it. These came with a heavy duty clip for the vehicle side and split ring to attach to the brake connector. The coil seems to have enough spring tension to keep the line from any major sagging. Time will tell how they hold up in the weather. I could see the red fading and the split ring and clip have potential to rust. Tune will tell. For now, I am happy with them.

Hatte zuvor das 3mm Bremsseil, hat leider nicht funktioniert. Seil ist gerissen, aber die Bremse am Hänger hat nicht ausgelöst. Nun das 5mm Bremsseil bestellt, verbaut und getestet. Beim ersten Versuch ist der Ring am Bremsseil defekt gegangen. Zweiter Versuch ohne den Ring hat dann funktioniert. Somit ist die 5mm Version für einen 2,5T Tandem Kipper geeignet.

Like probably everyone here, I had the original cable for emergency brakes on our camper. It was looking rough - cracked, too long, in the way, and rusted. I wasn't sure that that thing wouldn't just snap into pieces if it was ever engaged. This is a sharp looking unit that is both long enough but also stays out of the way. Very simple to replace.
