I have been looking for a small guillotine paper cutter for ages but didn't find what I wanted. Or could afford. For some reason these little guys are pricey. After being patient for a few years, and coming across this little one, with Fiskar's lifetime replacement offer, I went for it. It is perfect for cutting my small art papers for my art journal or to make little cards. It has a sharp blade and the paper doesn't move around. while cutting I am so happy with it. (I've not had the best luck with Fiskars gadgets, so let's see how long it lasts.)

This is such a great travel paper cutter. I got a different paper trimmer (the ones with the "rotary" blade), and it SUUUCKS! I never liked the rotary blade ones because they end up pushing through the paper rather than cutting down into the paper. And the one I had left an imprint of the blade holder and can't cleanly cut through cardstock. Terrible. This guillotine style paper cutter is just like their standard and oversized ones, just in mini form. I believe the smallest. And I can easily throw it into my art bag and take it with me anywhere. It can cut through thick cardstock, however, just because it's small doesn't mean it's the most accurate. Even the thinnest paper has a hard time catching the blade, so just be aware. But regular stock and even stickers, it cut fine. Mine had a bit a of a alignment problem with the blade. It kept catching onto something when pushed down, possibly one of the screw holes, but after a while, it was okay. It also doesn't have a locking mechanism for safety, so I just made a band out of elastic cord and wrap it around the cutter. If you're looking for a travel paper cutter, forget the rotary ones and get a guillotine style one like this one.

This little trimmer is just gorgeous. I had the smallest one that is made by another very famous brand and that works well, but this little one from Fiskars is something else. I have been looking for one of these since I first saw it on YouTube, and now I finally own one. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this trimmer as a replacement for the one I have for cutting business cards that I have printed on my printer, from cardstock. It is very easy to use, and I mark a long the ruler where to put the paper, so I don't have to remember.

This is a good little cutter. It is perfect for trimming photos or small paper for card making. The blade is sharp and cuts nice straight edges.

If you don't have a tiny trimmer...! I'm over the moon! I always see a bunch of bad reviews that exaggerate and are once off issues or random defects that a product can be exchanged for.Don't buy into the bad hype. This is a great little cutter! The photos I attached show the item in the package and showing the straight cut (I used a piece of 146lb Bristol board in the example) makes fine cuts and BEST OF ALL: the finger guard can be removed EASILY and replaced. Especially for a small trimmer I value the ability to see exactly where I'm cutting. Too many finger guards are cumbersome and can't be temporarily removed. I LOVE that I have the option to have it on or off. This seems rather sharp. It's nice and lightweight and will be easy to store (although it will probably live on my desk because it's so small and useful) and the white design looks nice and clean. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

I use this a lot to cut index cards in half, scrap paper for notes, Brother P-Touch labels, etc. The small size is handy and beats dragging out my large trimmer for a small job or eyeballing a cut with scissors. It doesn't cut 100% straight but comes close if you press down on the clear plastic guard to hold the paper in place. The measuring scale is accurate. Edit: I've now had this 3 years and still use it often. If you use it to cut a lot of P-Touch or other adhesive labels, the blade will eventually get some of the adhesive on it, but going over it with Goo Gone and a thickly folded paper towel (so you don't cut yourself) cleans it up fine.
