This works great. I use it every time we go fishing.

Pretty basic. Huge knot to hold the ring with excessive tag end. The ring looks to be the weak point as it is not split ring or solid ring but a hinged ring that could come open. Not very secure. I removed the hinged ring and installed a heavy duty split ring. Cut down the tag end and burned/flattened the end so it would not fray and not slip. Not impressed but should do ok since I made my modifications. The cheap Wallyworld stringers do exactly the same thing for way less $.

They sure don't make fishing stringers like they used to...

I should have looked more closely at the pictures on Amazon. The paracord is okay, but why on earth would a company sell a fish stringer with an Office Depot book binder that could open accidently or outright fail, potentially losing all your fish? Why not use a solid metal ring? THEN, they want to charge me over $7 to return it! Guess I'll just keep it and attach a better ring myself. Lesson learned.

I expected a thicker stringer for the price. I fish for large blue catfish and I was shown other stringers that seemed much better for a lot less.

Used it once and broke as I pulled it out of the dirt.

Just got this a couple days ago and was excited to take it out today, luckily for me I took it out of the package to check it out first because I would have deff lost my fish. The loop should be a solid ring NOT a clasp key chain. I had some rings from an old crab pot harness that I replaced it with.
