So I couldn't test the fire resistance without destroying it, but here's what I can tell you:It's not water resistant: I decided to test how well it protected documents from water. I stuck a sheet of paper in there and closed it up. Then I tossed it in the sink and ran some water over it and let it sit in a puddle for a couple of minutes. I didn't fully submerge it, just wanted to get a feel for how it would react getting wet from a fire hose. I knew I was in trouble when I pulled the pouch out and water streamed out of it. The paper inside was fully soaked. The lock just isn't: The lock on this thing can be pried open in about five seconds with a flat blade screw driver. Now I know with something like this that can just be picked up and carried away, the lock is meant as more of a way to keep people snooping rather than any hardened protection, but don't count on it.The pros: So this thing isn't all bad. The construction seems solid and it seems like it could withstand a beating. The seller states it's got fiberglass insulation and I'm inclined to believe them. It's thick and you can kind of feel the padding from what I assume is the fiberglass. The only downside there is the flap that covers the zipper doesn't seem to have the same padding. Id worry about heat transfer from the zipper to the contents inside. Hopefully I'll never need to test how fireproof it really is, but it at least gives me a bit of peace of mind.

Excellent protection for important documents! The fireproof and waterproof design gives me peace of mind, and the sturdy zipper and lock make it highly secure.

So, they advertise as fireproof and waterproof. They state up to 6200 degrees which I am HIGHLY Skeptical of. They should openly state how long it is rated for water-resistance and fire-resistance and at what temperature. So that's a bit sus.Color: Seriously. If these are important documents or valuables inside, do we really need a fluorescent, reflector strip across the front of it? Wouldn't an understated black or beige do better? Well, if the stats are lacking, there's always the misdirection toward the flash.I did think that the tiny little 3 digit code to unlock the zipper pulls was cute, albeit fairly useless. Maybe I misunderstand in that it's supposed to dissuade tampering from supposedly trusted people. A real robber would just throw the bag, locked and all, into his car and pull it apart in 10 seconds at home.Over all, it seems like a decent bag. I would not really trust it in the middle of a fire or flood, but it does seem somewhat resistant to fire and water and hopefully it would cause whatever is inside to make it past the first few minutes of flood or inferno, increasing the chances of recovery a little more than a ziplock bag would. :)

The fireproof bag is very strong and durable. I tried it, and it is indeed waterproof and fireproof. I believe it can fully protect important documents and other valuables, and with the zipper and combination lock design on it, it can bring security to my documents and valuables, which is value for money.

This isn't the largest bag, but it will fit the bill. Mostly I wanted something that I could easily store my important papers/documents to grab and go in case of an emergency, and give them additional protection depending on what the emergency is. The case is well-padded and sturdy. The construction seems sound.I received this fireproof documents bag as part of the Amazon Vine Program, but my opinion is entirely my own.

I had my important documents in a safe. It wasn't really fireproof so I wanted to at least have an extra layer for important documents (deed, passports, SS cards, birth certificates). This seems to fit the bill. It has a 3 digit combination lock that isn't really a deterrent but hopefully the bag itself would withstand a fire as I'm still keeping the bag in a safe so hopefully the extra layer of protection works. The bag isn't particularly large. If you have regular sized paper you will have to fold it to make it fit. I'm more worried about having the documents than if there's a crease. I still managed to fit everything in no problem. Again, I'm not keeping anything non essential. I would even think about having this somewhere in my nightstand or somewhere I can just grab in during an emergency but either way it's a good thing to have.
