Easy to do good price. The change in cooking time amazing. About half as fire smoke in smaller pit. Love it.

Worked great for my Pit Boss. I don't know which model Pit Boss I have and I already installed the new parts. (I was in a rush to cook before it got late last night.). Here is picture of the Pit Boss for reference and the removed parts. One recommendation to the seller is not to put the white connector on the wires already connected in the package. Just put it in the package separately for the buyer to attach at the end of installation. The wires need to be threaded through a grommet hole about a 3/8 inch diameter and the connector doesn't fit through. To install without taking the whole smoker apart. Get the white connector off the wires on your new purchased element with wires and white connector at the end. (I drilled holes in the white connector where the flap in the metal pulls out that keeps the wires with metal from pulling out of the white connector. I then pushed the metal flap in and pulled the wires out.) Remove the old fire pot. Cut the wires close to the element and fire pot. Then go to the control box/ pellet reservoir. Remove the plate off the bottom. Identify your element wires. Pull and shake from inside the grill where you cut them and fin them in the control unit. Disconnect your connection. With the white connector removed on your new element wires, tape real well and tight your new element wires to the old wires you cut on the inside of the grill. Then pull the wires you identified under the control unit feeding the wire from inside the grill. Remove the tape. Put the white connector on the new wires. Click the connection. Close the control unit. Insert the new element in your new fire pot and tighten the screw on your fire pot to hold it place maybe sticking the element into the fire pot about a half to the quarter inch. Work your new fire pot down into place. Takes a little wiggling. Screw down the new fire pot. Enjoy your smoker knowing you saved about $500.

My Pit Boss pellet grill needed a new fire box. This one fit and worked great. It included the igniter and I replaced both at the same time. It was straightforward to replace and has performed well. It was a good price and shipped quickly.

My original pot in my pit boss Austin xl has rust holes in it, I ordered this and it was a perfect fit and works great I didn’t need the ignition rod my old one was still usable. Great value for the price, can’t say if it’s rust resistant or not just yet. The build quality seems sturdy, it was very easy to install. I do recommend this product!

The hole cut for the auger wasnt cut correctly. The 4 screw holes would not line up without opening up the auger hole with a deburring tool or dremel.I reused the old pot, the igniter went right in! The new screw worked great.
