This was not as easy to set up. It kept malfunctioning. you could not reset it easily. The finger print worked but the pass code, could not set it up. Then when you tried to set up the pass code the finger print failed and not nothing works. Trying a different brand.

The door knob has several fancy features. But none of them would make any sense, if it didn't work as a secure doorknob. It actually does that very well.The other feature that I really like is being able to use my thumbprint to unlock and open the door.If you have ever installed a doorknob or replaced one, there will be no surprises. When you install this one, the one unusual step is hooking up the small ribbon cable that goes through the door. It's simple and straightforward.I'm still carrying the key with me for a while until I trust it to work reliably keyless, which it has so far.I'm 100% happy with this upgrade that I made to my front door, and I will recommend it to friends and family too! (That's probably my highest praise for a product like this.)

The door handle has a great look and feel. It is relatively easy to replace an existing door lever.It is VERY helpful to have a physical key for emergencies.The biometric fingerprint works right after programming. But coming back later to use the fingerprint, it does not work, no matter how many times I tried. Reprogramming the fingerprint reader has the same results.Fortunately, I setup a passcode, too. But it is a random passcode generated by the app; not so easy to remember, especially if I have several of these locks (different passcode for each lock). I cannot program my own passcode directly on the lock because it requires the admin fingerprint—which doesn’t work!I installed a different lock that has the same electronics and fingerprint reader as this lock—exactly the same results.I kept the lock installed because of the good things. But now the Bluetooth connection is failing. So it is time to remove the lock and return it.UPDATE: I finally figured out how to use the app to set a passcode of my choosing. So I’ll keep the lock. The fingerprint reader is still useless. Could be my dry hands due to low humidity, but still the reader doesn’t work.

I did not expect much for what I paid. I have installed fingerprint locks that cost more than $500 at work. I expected a cheap piece of plastic, perhaps even a novelty gift. I made the purchase because of the reviews. I was intrigued. This thing works great. Set up was incredibly easy. The tiny clip that connects to the main board goes in upside down, which I thought was strange. Everything else is fantastic. My wine cellar is safe from thieving teenagers.

The domain they give to get product support is inactive and unregistered. My pixel 6 phone won't connect with the device on bluetooth. Other phones will. The app actually seems pretty good and the finger print reader seems to work until the device resetted in which case you'd better have a key. The device reset at some point as I added fingerprints and passcodes. But it doesn't reset consistently when I press the reset button through the back handle with a paper clip.Setup is pretty easy but definitely try to connect the app first thing. Then do the fingerprints and passcodes setup.I setup 2 passcodes. They worked for a day then failed to unlock until I deleted them and re entered them on the app.UPDATE: After about 2 months. The batteries at lasting a long time, we love always having a "key" on our thumb. The system only reset once and required admin setup. Then all thumbprints were still saved.

This is one awesome fingerprint door lock!!! It looks great, feels heavy and solid, installed easily and it's very simple to program whether you want it to lock everytime you close the door or lock and unlock by the hour, day, week or just a one time deal. It has emergency options to unlock it and comes with special made keys as a backup. The only complaint I have is that the ad says you can open this lock with ALEXA & GOOGLE. What they DON'T mention is that you need to purchase a separate special Bluetooth hub device in order to use this with Alexa & Google. So by itself you CAN'T use Alexa and I find this to be a lure to something it can't do on it's own out of the box. It's already installed and I like it enough not to return it despite the fact that the Alexa option is a reason why I purchased this lock to begin with. I may have to purchase the hub later on but I'm in no rush. Get this lock folks. You will really like the convenience and simplicity. And if you lose your keys, you can still get in! 👍🏼😎 Njoy CB
