Merv 13 - I couldn't find them locally. They're surprisingly better than the Merv 11 available at Big Box World stores nearby.

This is going to be one of your best options for filtration if you're using 4 inch filters, if your system is using adapters I would recommend removing them and using a full 4 inch filters box instead as you get much less airflow restriction at this size and almost as good filtration as the 1700 option.

I bought the filters to make a Corsi-Rosenthal Box (find on youtube) using only two filters.Used the the box the two filters were shipped in as housing and added a fan - all held together with duct tape.It works very well.
