This air filter captures up to 62% of small particles (1), like bacteria and particles that carry viruses, for cleaner air. Your Filtrete Filter also captures large particles, including lint, pollen and household dust. This air cleaner filter is CERTIFIED asthma and allergy-friendly (2). Use a 3-month pleated 1-inch home HVAC filter in your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system. Two come in a pack, so keep one filter as backup, or use them in multiple areas. Since these are made from a company known for quality, and they claim to help keep down allergens in the air, I have to assume that they are worth the money and do their job.I forgot to change mine for almost a year, and yes it was full of dirt.This time I will try to remember to check it after 3 to 6 months.If money were no object, I would definitely buy anyone every 3 months, but money doesn't grow on trees, so I try to make them last.They do seem like a good quality product And I will continue to buy them at least every other time.
