This mandolin is well made and has a good appearance. It sounds good and is enjoyable to play. I recommend it highly.

I bought this mandolin at Musician's Friend. It is the third mandolin I own. All of them are A-style. It is also the first mandolin that I relieved that was already set up. It sounds better than my other two and it is also amp ready which they are not. The action is the best of the three and it came with the action already set up. I have yet to get the action on the other two lie i want it without buzzing on certain frets or being too hard to play. Maybe one day that can be fixed but so far it has not happened. There are other mandolins that are probably way better than this one like some of the expensive Gibson, selling for 20 thousand dollar, but this is a very nice reasonably priced instrument. It comes with a strap, but not a traditional mandolin strap and a serviceable gig bag. The bag has no pockets and does not offer much protection. Both my other mandolins came with better gig bags or cases and had pockets. I highly recommend this mandolin. It does not slice tomatoes or shred cabbage! It makes sweet music.
