I was swapping a vintage X style truss rod out with this to avoid all the potential problems with X style nuts such as stripping & burring the original. Worked great & fit my bass perfect. I do wish it was a 3/16 Allen key (even less likely to strip) but still works great.

It's a nut and it fits...what else is there to say. Pay attention to the outer diameter of the nut removed from neck. This one is larger than say a Squire Bass (which i found out). With a little enginuity i was able to modify the nut to fit my bass.
