Did not fit 04 sierra 2500 sle. Have the 14 bolt with 9.5 inch ring gear. Fel pro rds55387 worked awesome. So this probably works great for 2500hd applications. Didn't know it was wrong until I opened the package so doubt it can be returned.

I installed this with a thin layer of oil resistant gasket sealer on the cover and differential housing and have not had a leak.

Doesn’t leak, what else is there to say. Used gasket sealant on both sides for extra protection. Sanded down the surface really well too on my axle.
