Looks like a good product, unfortunately it won't fit my 2017 F150 Super 8.8 rear diff. Mine has 12 bolts in the cover, this is for a 10 bolt diff cover. Count the number of bolts on your diff cover before ordering.

Works great for 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1. I installed dry like the directions said. I'm going to be using this brand for anything diff related now. Did not leak at all. Now next time i won't have to scrape any silicone! As for the gear oil, I went with Valvoline over lucas brand because of the convivence of using bags versus a bottle. Seems to work well. 8.8 Rear ends should take about 2qts plus a limited slip additive.parts used:Lube Locker LLR-F880 GasketValvoline FlexFill Full Synthetic SAE 75W-140 Gear Oil 2 quartsFord CM19546A1 Friction Modifier 3.8 fl oz

Used on a 2008 F150 front differential along with Valvoline 75w90 gear oil bags. I was skeptical since the Ford service manual notes that RTV is to be used. I decided to try the Lube Locker and scrape all that RTV off. I would totally use the Lube Locker again. Worth every penny. *Make sure to scrape ALL the old RTV off both the cover and case. Spray/wipe the cover and case mounting service with brake cleaner to make sure the surface is free from any oil. Make sure to NOT BEND or tweak your cover and to torque the cover using the specified torquing sequence supplied with the lube locker gasket. I always torque using half the recommended torque value first in the supplied sequence and then go over each bolt again with the full torque value. Makes for a great seal. Really happy with the product.

Really nicely built seal, rigid core yet flexible enough to conform to any imperfections. I’ve yet to reuse it with a service. But I would feel comfortable reusing just looking at the quality of the deal, worth the wait and extra money vs the fel-pro and especially any cork gasket.

I used this for my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. It fit perfect, hasn't leaked a drop for 3 months so far!My method of install:1. Clean inside diff with brake clean, avoid getting into crevaces, use shop Rags to soak up all oil and liquid.2. Use 60 grit on both mating surfaces to get rid of corrosion, pitting, etc. Then 320 grit, 600,1000, and then 2000 to get a good mating surface.3. Use canned or compressed air to blow out holes4. Apply layer of Full Synthetic, high heat, bearing grease to mating surfaces and seal.5. 2 bolts, on at top, one at bottom to align seal and cover, hand tighten.6. Insert and Hand tighten all bolts, every other bolt.7. Use ratchet at the head to tighten every other bolt snuggly, and then do other bolts same.8. Tighten down every other bolt to 16 ft. Lbs and then with other bolts.9. Fill diff to fill hole.10. Spray down around seal and plugs with brake clean really well.11. Drive about 150~ miles, Check for leaks around plug holes and cover plate. Check fill level and fill if needed.Hope this helps anyone out! Been doing this procedure for years on many vehicles, including friends, family, and my own vehicles. I've never used RTV or gasket sealer. The LubeLocker gasket is made of steel that is rubber-coated on both sides, with an additional elastomer sealant that is applied at the factory. The metal gasket is strong (blow-out proof), it seals perfectly, and is re-usable many times. It comes with instructions for tightening the bolts in a specific pattern -- follow the instructions exactly, and you're good to go -- and go -- and go !! I used the LubeLocker gasket with a cast aluminum differential girdle -- perfect fit, easy install, and the results are leak-less !! The LubeLocker gasket is applied DRY !! No need to mess with RTV sealer EVER AGAIN !! WARNING !! Use a good (clicker) torque wrench, and DO NOT tighten the cover bolts to more than 25 ft/lbs !!UPDATE: 10/10/16 - Now at 5,200 miles since installation -- speeds up to 110 mph -- Air temps from 37 F to 105 F. Wiped the bottom of differential and cover with clean paper towel -- CLEAN AND DRY !! UPDATE: 7/17/2018 - Two (2) years since installation -- Speeds up to 110 mph. Air temps from 34 F. to 116 F. Wiped bottom of differential and cover with clean paper towel. STILL CLEAN and DRY !! Need a leak-proof gasket !?? Get a LUBE-LOCKER !!
