Did not come with everything that was advertised to be in the box. When the monitor arrived, I expected to be able to use it almost right away. However, it did not arrive with the Nightshade or Micro HDMI cable. Now, I have to wait for a Micro HDMI cable to show up (that I had to purchase separately) before I can use the monitor.

For ultimate starters, there’s no power supply!!! You need to purchase it separately which I didn’t know. The pictures made it look like it draws its power from the camera battery. This thing is really flimsy. I mean SUPER flimsy. The buttons and the screen are made of this cheap plastic and the buttons feel as if they aren’t designed to last long. I wish I had know about the battery issue and horrible quality. The screen itself also feels cheap. I’d look up other screens. I don’t know what the going rate of a screen is so I didn’t get the cheapest, but I didn’t go super expensive either. I feel like any moment this thing is gonna die on me. Avoid!!!!!!

Wow, I have been looking for an external monitor for my Sony ZV-1 for ages and FINALLY I have found one that has a good price point, functionality, and compactness. I was lowkey skeptical about buying this one at first because it didn’t come with a battery but once I was able to find the correct battery for it, it was all good to go ! It comes with a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable and honestly that was the best part because I have been looking for this particular cable for AGES for my camera. I also really like how compact this thing is. It’s not TOO heavy for my camera and is just the right size to see myself from far away while also keeping my camera propped up and not knocking it down from being too heavy. I usually never write reviews but this product deserves it ! Purchase this if you would like a compact high quality external camera monitor that doesn’t break the bank:)

I purchased this external monitor to use with my Sony A7C2. I’m by no means a video expert and I’ve never used an external monitor on a camera. I found it easy to connect and set up: just attach a battery (not included) to your new monitor. Connect the enclosed bracket to the monitor and to the camera’s hot/cold shoe. Warning: this is not a high-end “pro” product so don’t over-tighten the screws or I suspect they might break off. For those who say the cold shoe connection is loose, just re-tighten the hex screw with an Allen key… it’s also a good idea to keep an Allen key in your camera bag at all times). Attach the included HDMI cable: the micro HDMI plug into your camera’s HDMI port and the standard-size HDMI plug into the HDMI in port on the monitor. Press the Power On button on the monitor (this requires a long press of approx one second). Then turn on your camera. The monitor immediately recognizes a signal and the image you would normally see on your camera’s LCD screen now appears on your external monitor. It’s that easy! I can see all of my camera settings on the monitor. At that moment, the camera’s LCD screen goes black. Here are my first impressions: the image is surprisingly sharp with better-than-expected colors. The monitor is not a touch screen so I can’t use the tap-touch focus feature as I do on my camera. The monitor shows both battery levels: camera and monitor. Also worth mentioning, both the camera and the monitor got pretty warm during use. I suppose that’s to be expected. To test the battery life (I’m using an F550 2200mAh) I left my camera with the attached external monitor “ON” and, in two hours, both batteries had drained to approximately 1%. In the Menu, the only adjustments I made were: turning on Zebra stripes and Focus Peaking. The Menu is easily accessible but not very user-friendly. However, I quickly got the hang of it. If you fiddle around with the buttons, you’ll figure it out as well. (The Quick Start Guide is pretty useless.) For anyone requiring additional information, scan the QR code on the back page of the Quick Start Guide to download a more comprehensive User Manual. The fact that this monitor is made mostly of plastic makes it lightweight and is a bonus if you want to pack light when traveling. For the money, this monitor is great! Enjoy!

I love it...affordable with great quality...I wish the HDMI cable from the monitor to the camera were included but besides that...it's a great product.

I like this field monitor, great resolution and simple to operate. If you are using a Sony F970 battery compartment, please using release button on top of battery compartment to remove battery, or it will not come out. There are many useful features for this monitor and it is a great value at an entry level price point.I recommend this field monitor.

I'm using this in a video control capacity, and it's working great as a preview screen to see what's going up on the main output since that screen is out of view for me. No latency issues, nice bright picture.

Let it be known that it doesn't work with every camera. I bought mine with the intent of using it alongside my Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80, but I came to learn that (the FZ80) doesn't support a field monitor. This is more a cautionary tale that you should make sure you have a camera that supports this kind of stuff. But, my main problem with the monitor is that it doesn't come with a battery of any kind, but the upside is that 3rd party batteries work just fine and they are relatively cheap. Also, the whole thing (assembled) is some decent weight to it. But, the quality is decent and IS used to capture real-time footage from your camera. It has a lot of settings you can tinker with so you can always optimize it if you need to. Overall, is a bit too much given there's no batteries that come with it, but if you have any and this is your first field monitor, i reccomend this.

This little doo-dad is great! It's a small, lightweight, high-resolution screen with all the inputs and outputs you need.My use case:I've got an old Black Magic Design ATEM Mini video switcher. It's great! -Except it doesn't have a software Preview feature. You gotta spend the big bux for that! However, there is a solution. -You can jimmy the settings so that the ATEM's HDMI out can act as a hardware preview and the USB C out (sent to OBS or other recording software), gets the Program signal. This little Feelworld screen is now my Preview screen. Cool!An unexpected bonus with this screen comes from the fact that it so portable and handheld. When trying to get your cameras focused and lined up right, being able to consult the camera output in your hand is very useful.I've not got the battery for it yet, so I'm using a power plug, and I've not yet used it in the field. If I run into any weird issues in either of those two cases, I'll update this review. But until that time, I'm giving this doo-dad a 5/5.

Not only did I get a used product it had a burnt mark in the screen. Horrible, I payed for new item not used and especially not one with a burn mark on the screen. Product it self is excellent lightweight and extremely efficient. I would buy again but not from this seller. I will get a replacement and do a review.

Bought this to use while video taping for my YouTube channel “ForTheGrandchildren”. Mist if my taping is outside in the bright Ohio sun. This screen gives an excellent image and display even in the direct sun. Good price for a good product.

So far, so good. I’m not a pro photographer and this is my first time using a monitor with my camera work. The picture looks great and the build quality appears to be on point. It is unfortunate that it come without a power supply of any kind. Fortunately, I happened to have a 12v power supply handy, so it worked out fine. But I think the addition of a monitor will be invaluable for my work and so far, this appears to be a fine product.
