A cheap version of Atomos

Initially worked great out of the box. About two months later, the power light at the bottom shows as red. Even though I have tried multiple batter pacs, USBC power source, still a black screen. Not showing the 'feelworld' blue screen. I've tried holding down the power button, nothing. My window to return this item is lost. I'll be looking for a replacement, and it won't be Feelworld, that's for sure.

After some playing around with the brightness, backlight and contrast I was able to replicate what was on my camera screen very well, out of the box the image was way off. The arm that connects to the camera has a short screw so it doesn’t feel very secure, but I guess it works. Good interface with function buttons you can customize. I wish you could have peaking and zebras at the same time. I saw someone complain of a magenta tint, which is fixed by selecting “user” on the white balance control. It actually has better colour representation than my Atomos Ninja V which is too warm and can’t be adjusted easily. For the price it’s fine. The big battery and carrying case add a lot of value. It’s lightweight and thin so easy to throw in a bag.

I think for checking things like false color, framing, and focus; this monitor does a great job. The only downsides in my opinion are the plastic build quality, outdated user interface, and color accuracy. Out of the box, you might have to adjust the colors of the monitor, as mine had a pinkish magenta on the whites. I adjusted the red, green, and blue settings for a decent image, but not perfect.I like the touchscreen functionality as it makes navigating the menus easy when compared to using the top buttons. It can be powered in different ways, such as a barrel connection, USB-C, or NP-F battery. A high-capacity NP-F970 is included, and can be recharged via USB-C.I had previously used a different monitor brand that would turn green when switching to playback mode on my camera. With this monitor I can switch from camera to playback mode and it will work. One downside is that the monitor bezel or frame is thick; this makes the monitor larger than it has to be.Overall, for a budget camera field monitor it has good features like high brightness and touchscreen functionality, although the user interface, build quality, and color accuracy could be improved.
