Very good overall. But I do have some issues with this product. One real problem I have is when I try to record video in 4K mp4 format, the screen goes blank and gives me a “no signal” dialogue. Also, the battery indicator seems to be hidden behind other icons and I am unable to access and find out how much battery I have left!

Have started shooting videos for an online course. This viewfinder is great. What a relief to not have to keep on getting up and to check my position, focus, exposure and white balance. The touch screen is a great touch and works perfectly. Have not yet shot outside, but will update once I do.

Get one. Great brightness and functionality. 7” is an ideal size for focus pulling and monitoring. Very sharp image. Dropped once and took the fall. Still works flawlessly

The FEELWORLD LUT7 is fantastic! The 2200nit brightness makes it perfect for outdoor shoots, and the 7-inch touchscreen is responsive and clear. The 3D LUT support is a great feature, and overall, the monitor feels well-built and reliable. A must-have for DSLR and camera setups!

For the price it is ultra bright and clear even in bright sunlight. Well constructed and thought-out I love it.

Doesn’t matter if I’m inside or outside, battery or DC powered, after 5-10 minutes it gets too hot and I lose the picture. Then wait for it to cool down, use it for another 10 minutes, and repeat the cycle. The brightness and color is great, I just wish it didn’t overheat and lose the picture.

Pros: Looks good. Batteries lock securely in place. Mounting arm is sturdy and locks into my cage firmly.Cons: 1. My HDMI cables won’t seat in either jack - connection is not secure. (I tried two cables.) 2. L-bracket does not connect to monitor securely. The screw just isn’t long enough. 3. Using the built-in S-LOG3 LUT, colors appear green. Perhaps if I used the official Sony LUT this would’ve been corrected?4. Regardless of what frame rate I input to the monitor, it always showed 1080i. 5. I much prefer the HDMI connections to be on the side rather than the bottom. If I had to use this monitor, I would try right-angle HDMI connectors. 6. Contrast looks good when the camera isn’t moving, but shadow areas get much darker when the camera moves.

This is a surprisingly decent little daylight monitor. When you buy something like this for less than three bills, you have to expect some limitations like so-so color fidelity and a clunky interface. Overall, it's been working for me to do framing and basic exposure on a camera or as a directors monitor. Very good brightness, decent features, ability to use LUTs. One main issue is that the power input is too close to the 1/4" mounting point. If you have it mounted on a plate, it will block the external power input. It's also not the most durable of product. It's pretty plasticy so will probably not survive a drop or two. Just keep in mind that this is a budget product so there will be quality control issues. Don't solely judge by those that got bad units. If you get a good one, it works well for what it is. I have two and have been lucky. They've both worked without any issues.

This is a fantastic value for a fairly accurate field monitor, you don't need a hood to be able to clearly see exposure and focus even on a flat log image. The SD-card reader for LUTs is super convenient so it's easy to load LUTs onto the monitor, and the dual-battery capability is nice for when you have long shoot days and don't want to worry about battery life. I'd estimate that a NP-F970 lasts ~3.5 hours on full brightness, but keep in mind that if you load it with two NP-F970's that it'll overload the side mount of the display. The mounts are basically brass threads glued onto one half of the plastic housing, so it's incredibly fragile and after one shoot day, it cracked and I needed to switch to using the other side of the monitor to mount. My suggestion is to either use two lightweight batteries if you're using this on a hand-operated camera, or use multiple mount points to distribute the load. 2xNP-F970's and mounting it the way it suggests in the product photos will result in the side mount cracking.TLDR; It's a fantastic value for a very bright field monitor, it's a no-brainer for anyone who's shooting outside and need something that's lightweight and large. Just be careful to not crack the plastic mounting points by overstressing them.

However, it makes no sense that they did not put fans on this thing because it runs extremely too hot. Mine was reaching 50c in room temperature. Imagine in full sunlight? I’m too afraid it will catch fire or something. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning mine because of the heat.
