I've used this product before for scratches, bug bites, sores etc. It stays put and works.I was disappointed with this order as I was expecting a tube, per picture and product description, and got a jar. Tubes keep product cleaner and are easier to use.Otherwise, the delivery was very fast and glad to have the product as I was out.

This product really helped my mare with a girth rub when we were trying to find the right girth for her. Helped heal the rub quickly & protect the area from further damage. Definitely a good product to have in your grooming kit!

This product is simple amazing on open cuts /wounds on our dog. Looks and smells like the stuff from the vet. but at a better price. Helps keep the wound clean and pest free, flies stay away.

I bought this for my dogs to keep in their doggy first aid. One night I needed moisturizer for my feet after my shower. I'd felt some really dry skin on the side of my big toe. This doggy wound ointment helped my almost calloused toe.

My gelding has terrible itching along his midline on his belly. I have tried *multiple* products to help relieve the itching, and this is the only one that seems to help. I suspect it’s the small amount of menthol that it contains. It does an outstanding job softening his skin and helping minor sores caused from attempts to scratch heal, too. My farrier and a professional groomer told me about Tri Care and I’m glad I gave it a shot after being very disappointed in other products claiming to help with itching that had no effect whatsoever. I dab it on minor cuts elsewhere (from horsing around in turnout, etc.) and it heals them beautifully. The hair that regrows from minor cuts is his coat’s color (am I the only owner who found that Vitamin E causes regrown hair to come in darker than my horse’s coat’s color?). Can’t say enough about Tri Care. It’s my go-to now and I’m very, very happy with it.

Our lab is 8 and has had issues with a recurring hot spot on her front leg. We have tried dietary changes, tested allergies and exhausted all the vet's ideas aside from behavioral medications. We also regularly employed the cone of shame and other devices, including a one sleeved jacket that helped a lot, to try and get our girl to stop licking her front leg just above the paw, but we hated feeling like we were punishing her for something she couldn't help. We purchased this product and started applying each day before going for our walks and it definitely sped up the recovery and seems to have helped alleviate whatever was causing her to lick her leg so much. This was a great purchase and help to our baby girl.

This is the only thing I use for my eczema. It says for dogs and horses, but my dad’s acupunctureist recommended this for my skin since nothing else was working for me. I never looked back. Not only can I care for my skin; cuts, razor burn, pimples, blisters, ingrown hairs, rashes, and bruises. I can use it on my furry friends and know it’s safe. The ingredients are very natural and work amazing. My skin heals so quick with this lotion, I will forever be using this!

This is a great product. After using it for a number of years, I find that it promotes healing and keeps wounds clean. My horses find it soothing, especially when applied to nasty bug bites. I'm very happy to find it in a larger size.
