How does HoneyCure work?
How does HoneyCure work?

Manuka honey is the only honey to be scientifically studied and proven to be a medical grade healing tool for three main reasons:

  • There is a natural presence of methylglyoxal (MGO) and hydrogen peroxide
  • Blended with holistic essential oils, it delivers an anti-inflammatory effect, providing a stable and pain-free environment for the wound to heal
  • The sugar present in Manuka honey naturally absorbs fluid from the wound, allowing it to drain and help heal

HoneyCure is a great homeopathic product that can be applied as soon as your pet is hurt.

A wound’s ability to heal is greatly influenced by what you do first and what you do at home.

HoneyCure is an ointment that can be easily applied to help create an appropriate healing environment for optimal wound improvement. You may see improvement within three days of using HoneyCure.

Licking Discouraged

HoneyCure is made from a blend of Manuka honey and therapeutic essential oils. Our unique formula discourages your pet from licking, scratching, or biting the affected area because of its unappealing taste and odor. HoneyCure is not intended to be consumed, but in case your animal does lick their wound, it is non-toxic.

Benefits of Wet Wound Healing

Applying HoneyCure and a bandage to your animal’s wound immediately after an injury promotes wet wound healing. Wet wound healing is when a wound is kept moist during the healing process. The moist protective barrier allows your pet’s body to supply it with oxygen-rich blood. This supply encourages cells to regenerate naturally, preventing inflammation and encouraging excellent skin regeneration.

Recommended by my Vet for a small "nibble" wound on the side of dog's face. Every time it started to heal over, the dog would rub against something and it would take the scab off. Tried this product (used very little) and for some reason, product took out the "itch." Wound is healing over naturally - no scab.

Manuka is already known for its healing property so this ointment I knew was going to be great in addition to based off of the reviews. So I have been struggling getting my cat's wounds to heal because he keeps getting at them so once I found the right cone/cover preventative. I started back using this ointment and within two to three days the wounds were healing but unfortunately my cat kept getting to them so I had to keep starting the process over LOL, but eventually we got to a point to where I was able to mitigate him being able to get to the wounds for it to finally heal but the ointment works wonders. Id say for fresh abrasive wounds thst have a little bleeding, if you clean and apply this within 24 hours it will have thar first healing stage already. It works very quickly. Will be getting more.Last thing that I will mention is that it can get messy. The ointment has a tendency to solidify and once it's applied to the warm skin it kind of melts and starts running so you just have to be strategic about how much you apply and where you apply it. You may or may not have to make sure it's at room temperature, I noticed sometimes it will be very solid and I couldn't really spread it on the wound so make sure it's at room temperature but not too warm because you don't want the ointment to be very runny.

My dog has some blisters that don't want to go away (vet hasn't been much help), but I think this has at least helped the skin look less inflamed and skin seems like it's healing well so I'm satisfied applying this ointment. It's a bit small and pricey but if it helps my dog's skin I don't mind buying it. It does have a scent, sadly it's not deterring my dog from licking it.

I want to use this ointment for my female dog. She has a rash on her genital area. The ointment is a little bit grainy and not easy to spread easily. Its soft but it does not go on smoothly. I hope this info helps.

Our dog cut his nose pretty badly so I ordered this immediately after seeing a fellow dog owner post about it. The value for the money was right and the reviews sounded good. It worked right away and his scar is small and barely noticeable now! The cut healed within a week to 10 days which is faster than expected! He did lick it off a few times but since this is honey I wasn’t worried about the safety of it.

I have a cat that has rashes or something on her stomach and I’ve been fighting it for years now. The vet medication helped some but not enough. She’s been tested for auto immune problems. She licks everywhere on her body. So I became my own vet and ordered some things to try, one of which is this product. I alternate with a cat cortisone spray and she is so much better. It is sticky but worth it she just lays there and let’s me put it on. I recommend this product

This product is amazing and works wonders! My dog is a Standard Poodle and had a cyst on her side that just would not get better. I took her to the vet two times and even tried products from the larger pet stores that were supposed to help close the wound. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to help and I was getting very worried about my dog. Then I found HoneyCure! After just a few days I saw a noticeable difference as the wound from my dog's cyst began to close. Then a few weeks later, the issue had almost cleared up entirely! Best of all, my dog didn't even try to lick her wound thanks to HoneyCure and I could finally free her from the plastic cone she had been wearing for weeks. My poodle is doing very well now and we have HoneyCure to thank for it. I highly recommend this product to all my friends and family and would absolutely recommend you try it for your animals. You will not regret it! Thank you to EnBiologics for making such a fantastic product!
