The summers in Texas a brutal with high humidity and fluctuating temperatures causing my horse’s hooves to break apart easily out in the pasture. This product helps his hooves grow out faster and make them stronger.

The product arrived quickly. My mare is pretty finicky but she ate it up, smells nice. She has had it for two weeks. I can see that her foot is not as tender as it was. Will need more time to determine the speed of growth.

Has completely brought my OTTBs feet around. His feet were a mess in every way possible and this has really helped in every area. My warmblood already had pretty good feet other then after trims he would get abscess sometimes or be tender footed for several days even though he wasn’t cut short. I started him on this also and it has taken care of those issues as well. Both horses are picky eaters and eat it with no problems. My farrier noticed a huge difference the first time he trimmed the TB after being put on it.

Ok so I don’t usually write reviews. But this stuff is all they say it is. My horse was starved almost to death almost five years ago. As you can see by the second photo my handsome man is doing great now. But he has permanent damage in his back hocks, which makes him put undue stress on the back of his hooves. It’s a constant battle to keep ahead of damage. Early this summer he chipped off the side of his hoof in such a way that I could fit three finger across in it and two fingers deep. Why he didn’t go lame we can’t figure out. There was no side wall . We filled it creating a wall with epoxy. But that was a temporary fix. Farnams was recommended and I was willing to try anything!!This product is as good as it says it is. Between time and this product his hoof looks great!! It’s been four months and two orders of this product.I highly recommend it!!

I just started giving this to my mule. It has a very strong smell of iron I think, and it seemed a little offputting to him. He ate around it for the first couple of days, but now he's gotten use to it and will eat it. Not enough time has passed to be able to tell if it will help his hooves. The canister it comes in is so incredibly durable and strong that I had to destroy the lid to get into it. Additionally, it came packaged inside a cardboard box with the bottom falling out. There's really no need for Amazon to package this product other than just to slap a mailing label on it. The bucket could go through a Samsonite commercial with a gorilla without being the least bit damaged.
