I use this when the weather is wet to keep thrush from my horses hooves. When Summer is here and we are in drought I use a liquid thrush treatment. This is a powder, easy to apply and works well.

I was lead to believe that I was ordering the 5.5 oz. bottle and received the 2.5 oz bottle. Stupid expensive for only a 2.5 oz bottle.

This product was recommended to me by my farrier who says it works wonders, however I had a bad allergic reaction to the powder and the tip, after cutting it off to administer the product to my gelding’s hooves, kept getting clogged. I’ve had a rash on my hand for going on 2wks now - it’s finally clearing up with lotrimin ultra - due to the powder getting on my skin. So, I’m sure it works for many horses, but for me I think I’ll have to stick with a mix of iodine, thrush buster, and tomorrow (dry cow) to care for my gelding’s hooves unless I want to dress in PPE gear. As a side note, my gelding and husband had no allergic reaction to the powder.

We live in the PNW where it rains for most of fall, winter, & spring. We use this hoof powder on our miniature horse (YouTube "Little Darlin Stables") daily and year around to be pro active in preventing thrush (hoof rot). Our farrier is very pleased with us using the hoof powder. We have it on subscription so we never run out! Highly recommend!!

Really like how this works. It sticks to any moist wound you may have. Stays on for a couple days but I reapply everyday just in case. I don't like how it pumps out. You can't control how light or heavy it comes out really.

Il est important que j'ai le bouchon route sur la bouteille pour ne pas perdre du produit et pour éviter que la poudre devienne compactée en absorbant l'humidité ambiante.

This product is the only product that has made any progress on my horses thrush. He has a big heel crack and I’ve been trying everything to get it to close. I’ve been using this product for only 2 weeks and notice a difference. Only downfall is that it does end up being more expensive to use because the bottle is so small. I’ll definitely get a good 3 weeks out of it. Worth it to help close up the heel crack

My first experience with thrush was rather painful. Ruby had managed to get a pretty bad case of thrush in the sulcus of both hind legs, but more so in her left hind. I was completely unaware that it was even there until the hoof actually split! After weeks of trying Thrush Buster with little improvement, I did some research and came across No Thrush. Since Ruby's case was pretty bad, I treated her feet every day for about 2 weeks. The change was phenomenal! The crack in her sulcus began to close, and new tissue started to come in.Important things to note:1. No Thrush made sense to me because the product is dry. Since the thrush thrives in dark, damp environments, I decided to go with a dry product. It will still work in wet conditions, but try to keep the area as dry as possible. *Very important*- KEEP THE STALL CLEAN! Horses will stand in wet spots (including urine) when the thrush gets uncomfortable. I made sure her stall was kept spotless during treatment.2. Product application: Since Ruby's thrush was in the sulcus, I actually had to stick the nozzle way down in the crack (which she did not like at all). Simply dusting over the area will not help in these situations- you really have to get it in there. I lightly dusted the rest of the hoof just to keep it from spreading3. Be patient: No Thrush does not claim to be a magical cure-all. Depending on the severity of the thrush, it can take well over a few weeks to finally get rid of it. Remember, just because it looks like it is gone, doesn't mean you have gotten rid of all the thrush. Check will your farrier to make sure you really did get it all. When you scrape out the tissue around the frog, it should scratch out white. If not, you have more work to do.4. Something about Thrush Buster: the people at my barn raved about Thrush Buster. It does work, BUT I did not see the results I was hoping for. Secondly, I was told that Thrush Buster is like chemotherapy- it kills cells...all of them. It will get rid of the thrush, but it can also be painful for your horse. For mild cases, I would use Thrush Buster. For cases such as mine, go with the No Thrush.5. Home-made products: please be careful when mixing chemicals. Unless you know how the mixture will effect your horse, I would stick to tried-and true products such as this one. Saving money by making your own treatments can really backfire. Also note that some "common practices" for home-made treatments are old wives tales. Please, for the sake of your horse, do your research!
