I think it would be unfair to give this a one-star review or even a lesser review as I have tried many fly products this year none seem to be all that effective however this is the best one I have found for this year.... Has the traditional fly spray smell which I kind of like, "maybe it's nostalgia" I tend to mix it just lately a little more potent than it should be and it does seem to work okay The flies will occasionally still land on her even almost immediately but there are a lot lesser of them. I just think there really is no surefire fly treatment at this point unless you keep a super clean facility your best bet is either the feed through, as well as predators, combined with something like this I think it would be very effective. But if you're a boarder like I am you're not going to really invest in things like a feed through which is essentially useless if other horses are not on it, I'm predators are just not cost-effective when you don't own the property. So this is really your best option.

This works and doesn't have a terrible smell. If it's a bad fly day you might need to apply morning and afternoon butit's still worth it. I have used other fly sprays that are just too hard onthe horses. One horse had an reation to "Wipe" and I never used that again.I've used this brand for at least 10 years and won't use anything else. Itis getting expensive though....like everything else.

My horses all get hives from the oil based sprays that actually work. This is the first thing I have found that keeps the files away and doesn't burn their skin and give them hives.

Best spray on fly repellent out there. And I have tried ever single one including the homemade.

We live in Hawaii on a comfortably landscaped residential lotWith swimming pool. Our outdoor living style on aCovered lanai attracts many flies when cooking & eating. I spray this diluted product on theDeck daily, & have reduced fly hazard by 90%.I have also place several citronella plants bordering the deck.

The product is fine... Except the seal was broken, and it leaked out, soaking the box. This is actually the second time this has happened, buying from two different sources: smartpak and now amazon. Farnham needs to improve the seal under the cap.

Purchased the Equicare Flysect Super-7 in the past and like the product and decided to buy the product but in the concentrate but it is not the same. I have used the Equicare in the past but the concentrate is not the same and I am not happy with this spray and will not end up using the concentrate.

I've been using this all summer and it's one of the few that says it will last for several days and actually does. I mixed up 1 gallon in the spring and still have some left in August for 2 horses. It doesn't smell great but my girls aren't dating right now so that's okay.
