Stuff works great. For people who say it gave their horse a rash it’s cause you didn’t shake it well before use as it’s oil based. I have never had an issue when you do that first. The other water based stuff just doesn’t work/last but this really keeps fly’s off and keeps my horse comfortable

Great way to get rid of flies around doorways and unwanted places. Works as advertised.

I bought this product due to good reviews, but I'm sure sorry I did. Cow flies were getting bad, and because my horse's tail was surgically altered (long before I bought her), she can't swish over her rump. After 3 uses in 5 days, my mare has broken out in hives something fierce. I just had to inject her with dexamethasone, and she'll be taking a powder form for a few days as well, to get past this allergic reaction. She uncomfortable all over, but because I sprayed her rump the most, she is covered with raised welts there, in huge patches. She winces when I even lightly touch her, and rinsing and shampooing her caused her discomfort. The funny thing is, the darn stuff won't wash off on the whole right side of her rump! I've tried betadine, even, but still a large 'greasy-looking' patch has remained, and it is the worst section of hives. This product comes with a warning on the back, but I've never read the back of a fly-spray bottle before, and didn't this time, either. MY BAD. This fly spray has caused a vet bill! I cannot recommend this product, though for the record, I've been using regular white bottle Bronco for over a year with no problems.

This is the No.1 choice! I almost gave it four stars because it's too expensive - and that's the only reason I've used other brands. With three horses this time of year the bottle only lasted a week; I've just ordered the larger. The really good news is not only does it work, but with the lanolin it leaves a layer of oil that seems to sooth the skin. I have a mare that is allergic to mesquitos and HATES the smell of other sprays; she's always jumped around when sprayed. With this one she hasn't shyed away or jumped around once. I still spRAY on my hand or a rag to apply to her face, but all three stand much calmer with this.In the extreme heat it last two days - maybe - and I still need to apply to the face, but for their happiness and well-bring that's ok.I just ordered the roll on replellant for around the eyes. That does OK but I need to apply twice a day in the heat. It's just too expensive (and the Apple Cider Vinegar solution tends to dry their skin out and doesn't last very long either - but it's less expensive and better for them than the really strong pesticide/repellants)
