This works well for our dogs to keep the flies off.

This spray cut down on the fly population around my house. I used it on my door frames and directly on flies. The scent is pleasant. The flies stayed away. Reapplied as needed. I have a few cats and it didn't bother them. I sprayed when they weren't in the immediate area. I am happy with this product.

Works ok in Florida but doesn’t ward off gnats. Be careful not to accidentally inhale when you’re spraying because it caused some irritation. The sprayer broke after 3 uses. I ended up buying an empty spray bottle and pouring basically the full bottle of fly spray into it.

I really like this product for keeping flies off of my older dog with incontinence issue while sleeping in the yard. Good effectiveness, does not seem to bother the dog at all, no side effects noticed, good price. However, be aware that the bottle/sprayer will LEAK if you leave it where the sun might shine on it and warm it up. And not just a little leak -- I lost about 1/4 bottle today, even after trying to tighten it ahead of time. If you remember to rotate the spray tip control to the off setting, this will help a lot. Otherwise great, just keep it out of the heat.

I can’t sing the praises of this sweet miracle spray any louder!! We have our trash barrels next to our back door. We have a pool, 2 dogs, and a 12 year old son. To say that door is open and shut a millions times a day is an understatement. The flies were sneaking in and driving me and the cats BONKERS. (Thankfully the kitten is an assassin!) I tried everything! All the sprays out there that “kill” and “repel” flying insects and it didn’t help. I got this as a last chance effort. I am so glad I did!I spray this in and on the trash cans, my patio set, the door frames and wherever I don’t wants flies, gnats or mosquitoes to land or come near and POOF! They are gone. No flies in the house or trash!!I don’t know when you got Jesus to turn this water into pure gold but thank you!!

I live in the Adirondack's, and there a ton of nasty insects during the warmer months. My dogs go crazy jumping at the variety of bugs. I do not want to use deet on them as they will lick it off. I have tried natural remedies, but nothing works. The scent of various essential oils is bothersome to my dogs and they lick it off. The scent of the Repel-X is mild and my dogs are not bothered by it. The insects leave them alone and they can relax and enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend.

Wow, this product works great. I don't have horses. However, I have a deck with some flower pots. I was getting a lot of hornets, flies, and horse-flies flying around the plants. I put on gloves and sprayed the product onto a paper towel and wiped down the outside of my flower pots, deck rails, etc. I also sprayed some onto cotton balls and placed inside my flower pots under the foliage. Easy 90% reduction of those insects, and still going after 4 days and 2 heavy rain downpours. It also has a light and pleasant lemongrass scent.

Edit: The half life seems to be multiple days which is fantastic - haven't had to respray her yet.Where we live currently has a mosquito problem at the back of the yard and a fly problem by the door (it's where we keep the bins). My poor dog was getting landed on, buzzed around, bothered and bitten at every angle any time we went outside to play or potty. As soon as this came in, I took her outside and sprayed her down from neck to tail, being careful to avoid her eyes, nose and genitals as instructed. She's a short hair breed so I didn't need a lot. I let it dry down for about 10 minutes and then took her out for some playtime. The flies wouldn't come near her. Two mosquitoes attempted a landing but they couldn't stay on her for more than a few seconds at a time. Meanwhile I was being swarmed. Even the gnats stayed away from her.Pros -The sprayer has a very fine mist, which means you get a nice even distribution and need less product to get their coat covered. It works. Period.Cons-You have to be careful about where and how you spray it. According to the instructions you should be wearing long pants and a long sleeve shirt to apply, as well as gloves. A bit of a hassle depending on how often you need to reapply. (Not sure about the half life of this yet.)You also need to be sure you do it outside away from any other people, animals or consumable plants you may be growing. It smells strongly of something vaguely herbal and chemical mixed together, as expected for an insect repellent. My pup hated it at first and had a bit of a tear around the flat and did some rolling around/wiping at her face but eventually she settled into it just fine.Overall if you have any kind of fly or mosquito problem or you spend a lot of time outdoors with your pup, I'd highly recommend this spray.
