When the last week of extremely cold and windy weather hit, I needed to keep 15 miniature donkeys closed inside the loafing shed. This bucket allowed me to keep water in front of them overnight. I was very pleased that it was not totally empty by morning, so that means that they had adequate water to keep their digestion going as it should and keeping them as warm as possible in single digit temperatures! It was an investment, but I hope that it will give me the long period of service like my smaller buckets have.

These work really well. The water in them didn’t freeze even when the outdoor temperature was below freezing.

I needed this right when Temps plummeted to below zero this winter and everyone wanted one.So I looked to Amazon and sure nuff placed the order right around noon on my lunch break on Friday.It was on my porch around 1 on Saturday afternoon!!!Just over 25hrs and I was plugging it in for my OTTB.She and I are extremely happy with the heated bucket.Thanks again Amazon and all!

Purchased the Farm Innovators 5 gallon heated bucket back in November - item worked well for a couple of months but the heating function failed, causing the bucket to freeze solid. Contacted their customer service and they sent a new bucket no questions asked. They only requested that I send a photo of the failed product with the power cord cut off. New bucket arrived today - I really appreciate that level of customer support and standing behind your product. Hopefully this one will be more long lived, but can't speak highly enough of the company's support.

Dogs are never out of warm water. Very good sturdy pails. I have 2 large Rottweiler pups that chew everything including stainless steel pails. I built 3/4" plywood boxes with hinged lid with hole smaller than the pails, drilled hole to run cord out the back of box. I put a lockable clasp on the front of the box and lid so they can't open it to get the pail out. I have had 165 pound puredred rotti and none have ever gotten the pail out. These pails last for years. Evev in Canadas -40 below my dogs have water living outside in their pens. The dogs talk there way into the heated garage but their pails stay out, never find them frozen.

I initially had a problem with one of the buckets. Vendor responded to my request for a refund or replacement within a day. Turned out to be unnecessary since the problem turned out to be at my end. Nice quality, definitely great in the current cold spell. No concerns at all about ordering anything from this vendor in future.

Great bucket, reasonably priced! Came earlier than promised. A little larger that the one it replaced. I like that the cord can be stored up inside it, for summer use or storage. So far, so good, although it has not been really cold since purchasing it, but certainly below zero!. Hopefully it will last several winters. Nobody likes frozen water.

Works great so far. Been below -20 and no frozen water. We keep them inside the barn for goats and cows. Can't speak to longevity as we have only had them for 2 months (mid November to mid January). We have the 5 gallon and the 16 gallon.December 2016 update: we used 2 of the 5 gal and 1 16 gal all winter last year and they worked perfectly. Kept inside an airy unheated barn but they did not freeze once. Just ordered another 5 gal for another stall.3 year update: still working as well as they day we bought them. Getting ready to set them up for their 4th winter.
