GSR750に購入！オイルパンのドレンボルト逃がし形状より、このバルブの径が大きく！当たり面が当たらず漏れます。オイルパンを削るかバルブを削るか！どうしようもない！結局、アルミワッシャーを入れ、強く締めました。

Why not just include a gasket?. 7.3l Powerstroke excursion I even used some thread sealant on the threads because I knew I was never taking this off and it's still leaks. I had no leaking issues with my prior drain plug and copper crush washer. Yes, I follow the directions on how to install an eighth of a turn once hand tight. Again, the o-ring is a terrible idea

What can you say about a drain plug, it fit properly, functions as expected. Unlike it's main competitors, it will not gather oil and dirt since it opens directly to the atmosphere. It also will accept a 5/8" hose and clamp, if desired. Feels like it will not open unexpectedly. I used it on the drain for a Misimoto oil catch can. Not sure I would use on my engine oil pan, not that there is anything wrong with it, I just don't want to take a chance.

THIS FLIPS OPEN AND CLOSED EASY BUT NOT SO EASY YOU WOULD WORRY ABOUT IT ACCIDENTLY OPENING. IT USES AN ORING SEAL NOT A CRUSH WASHER LIKE THE OEM PLUG. I ALSO INSTALLED THE NINETY-DEGREE HOSE BARB TO MAKE DRAINING THE OIL A LITTLE EASIER.

オイル交換で一番面倒臭くて気を遣う作業がドレンボルトの開閉作業。手も汚れるし、ワッシャーを交換しないといけないし、トルクレンチを持ってない初心者だとネジ山を舐めてしまう危険性も･･･。そんな面倒臭い事もリスクもバルブ式にしてしまえば無縁。走行中にバルブが開いてしまうような事は絶対に無い構造になってるし、デメリットが見当たりません。唯一気を付けないといけない部分があるとすれば、オフ車で倒木を乗り越えなければならないレベルの林道に行く人は、バルブがアンダーガードから出ていないかチェックして、出ていればアンダーガードにスペーサーをかますなりしてバルブよりもアンダーガードが下になるようにする必要はあるかと思います。それ以外の人には何の加工や手間も不要です。面倒臭い作業をしなくてもいいとなると、オイル交換のサイクルが短くなり、結果としてエンジントラブルも減り、愛車の寿命も伸びるので、本当に替えた方が良いですよ。

After install, on the first use found the oil drains slower than with the drain plug removed which I fully expected and not an issue for me. No leaks, turns on and off easily and works as I envisioned. May be a problem for in and out drive through oil changes due to the slower flow. The fact the plug does not need to be removed and reinstalled with a new washer sold me. No chance of stripped threads.

Installed this and immediately it leaked from the valve.I had to pull it out and install my oem drain bolt without loosing to much oil.I would not recommend purchasing this product

Fits my 6.0 Powerstroke perfectly. I have the similar style Fumoto valves in place of the freeze plugs. I wanted one for the oil pan as well. This is a little nicer I think with the rubber on the handle. It's also has female threads so you can use a plug or hose Barb with it. I did not use a copper washer to seal it, only the oring that's pre installed.

Works great on my 2002 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke diesel! These trucks hold 4 gallons of motor oil, so it becomes a bit of a process changing the oil and I always seem to make a mess. Just installed this and now I have control over the flow of the oil. Will make it soooooo much easier and less stressful in the future. This does not hang down super low either, so it is highly unlikely it will ever get hit by something. The front cross-member actually hangs lower. I installed with a copper washer, but not sure if that is necessary. My oil pan hole was just a bit recessed and I wasn't sure how it would seal otherwise. So far no leaks!!!
