This skeleton will work well enough if you're studying for a high school or lower level anatomy class. The landmarks are accurate on MOST bones and you can tell where things are supposed to go.Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, there are some glaring anatomical inaccuracies, especially with the way the ribs connect with the sternum/costal cartilage. The bones are not the highest quality so they don't articulate well together if you're trying to match them up to see how they would move together. There are also very obvious seams from the casting, which don't really affect function but are just unsightly and can make it difficult to distinguish certain landmarks from casting lines.This will probably work for most people as a supplemental learning tool, but if you're taking anatomy online or need it to be very accurate, this is not the one.[Edit 9/27/24: The seller reached out to me regarding my review, apologizing for the issues with the skeleton. They offered me a full refund and to let me keep the skeleton. I've added a star to my review for the customer service.]

It’s exactly as the description of the item. The bones are actually very solid pieces. I love that they organized it so well for you in separate bags. I like that one foot and one hand is articulated while the others are bagged as separate bones. This has been incredibly useful as a learning tool for me while I study for my anatomy and physiology course. 100% recommend

I wanted to assemble this model myself, but the ribs are a mess. That being said, the individual bones are nicely detailed, and everything else fits together fairly well.

This was the best possible purchase I could have made for my anatomy class. Being able to study with them at home made a huge difference. Very accurate and detailed. So incredibly worth buying to really spend time with the bones and understand them outside of lab or a textbook.

Ordered this skeleton for an Osteology Class. Good model. Bones are labeled for a key with a faint indentation which is very hard to read, especially on the small bones. Used black craft paint with a flat brush, wiped once with dry rag and again with slightly damp rag - really helps with bone identification

I just finished taking Anatomy for Physical Therapy school and this purchase made a drastic change in my anatomy grade. Being a visual learner and having to use slide decks makes it hard to piece together all the inter-workings of the body, but this model had all the right landmarks and textures described in my textbook. The quality is great, a few sharp edges from demolishing but nothing a nail file couldn’t handle. Perfect for anyone taking a college or graduate level anatomy class!
