This is a great gift for the scientist if your life. The table looks really sharp and everything is easy to read. I really like the images it has with each of the elements.

The acrylic periodic table is beautiful and well made. It's absolutely a conversation starter and any layperson or those in scientific community will appreciate the design. The table came with a solid wooden base if you choose to use it. The elements are easy to read and perfect size for a desk. Solid construction and a bargain at the price. If you're a teacher, I think your students will be fascinated and much better than seeing the elements on a computer image or poster chart. This is more tangible and impressionable.

I ordered three different brands of the periodic table and this one was by far the best. This one was the only one that fit in the stand perfectly. Also the Light is very soft and looks great.

This is a fantastic periodic table display for home or office. At $29.99, it's far less expensive than other options I've seen online and at local retail (ones as high as $250 are common!), yet has the same quality, plus includes the little real wood stand.Positives:-Very highly polished acrylic encasement. Came with a protective film to protect it during manufacturing and packaging, so there's no scratches or scuff anywhere.-The edges are all nicely rounded and also buffed nice and smooth.-Whilst obviously small, you can, with the included magnifying glass or your cell phone camera, make out the elements. -Text and lines are very clear and is actually inside the acrylic, so there's no chance of it wearing of.-It may not be a great magnifying 'glass', as it's plastic, but it does a good job letting you see the details and is a good inclusion.-The stand is actually real wood and well finished in a clear coat.Negatives:-None!Considerations:-This is clearly a small display at approximately 5 x 6 inches. The listing also has a larger version and one that includes an LED base, which going by this one, are also worth considering.-Make sure to clean this with only eye glass cleaner! If anything gets on the surface, I recommend washing it under warm water before using eye glass cleaner and an eye glass clothe. Anything else is likely to cause micro-scratches, which will show up when you magnify the surface!Overall:-Cannot recommend this enough, especially at the price point! This review is for "NLShan Periodic Table with Real Elements: Acrylic Periodic Table Display for Teaching - Chemistry Gift for Students, Kids, Teachers & Science Lovers"

This is so amazing. I keep thinking to myself about what the process is to make this amazing Periodic Table. It's so cool that there are tiny pieces of all of them. There are little gas bubbles for each of the gasses. My only trouble is trying to figure out who to give it to since it would be a great gift for all of my kids ages 8-17. Or maybe it will be a family Christmas present. The homeschooling applications are great. It would be wonderful for show-and tell. My 8-year-old is especially fascinated with the periodic table right now. I could see this being a great gift for a child who learns the song from ASAP Science. It would be very motivating! It came in a beautiful box and was safely wrapped. It also had a nice sheet stuck on it to protect it. This box was in a bigger box with the wooden stand and magnifying glass, which were also carefully wrapped. What a thoughtful presentation for a beautiful gift. Easy 5*, it's a great price too!

I homeschool my daughters, and I try to make sure I'm constantly adding interesting materials, manipulatives and other learning tools to our classroom and process to keep them engaged and curious. Both of them are going to be starting to learn this subject matter after Christmas, so I really wanted to find them an interesting periodic table for pneumonics and I really loved the look of this one! The size is perfect, especially for a home classroom / office (I also work remotely, so our office/classroom has to be engaging and visually appealing for everyone involved) that is likely limited on the amount of space that each learning tool can take up. I've seen similar ones that are lit from the block below, and while those look really cool, I didn't really want to add yet another thing I need to plug in so this particular periodic table was perfect.I really love that this periodic table includes physical examples of so many elements (the ones that are not included are indicated radioactive, and we'll be looking those ones up for visual examples). While there are definitely periodic tables out there, in many formats, which include more information, the most important information is included on this one. Because both of them are still just getting acquainted with the periodic table and the concept of elements in general, I definitely prefer to limit their input to the most important information about each element. It's neatly organized, and doesn't look or feel cramped. It's going to be a great tool in our classroom- I know that one of them in particular is really going to love learning from it, as she really adores science and definitely has a thing for rocks, metals, etc.- she's going to love having physical examples of these elements to look at right in her home.
