Easy to install. The water is crystal-clear and fresh tasting.The only thing I don't care for is you have to run 48-64 oz. of water through it to clear the charcoal in the filter before using it.

I feel these are a bit pricey but worth it. Better than buying bottled water. Use this in our home in our KitchenAid fridge. Easy to install and easy to order. This one is on repeat!

There lots of knock off versions of this filter. They do not work well and often have an odd taste. These Whirlpool filters have been great every time.

El agua que sale del filtro tiene un intenso sabor a cloro, esto no pasaba con el filtro anterior que es de la misma marca pero fue comprado directamente con whirlpool.

It makes the water taste like water, no weird tastes from my experience. I would definitely recommend for anyone else who has the option to get this filter, just follow the instructions and it should work just fine.

A great filter. No issues with purchase, delivery, installation, and use. Had preliminary concerns after reading some of the comments on the Amazon.com website with relation to it being a downgrade from its predecessor model and the bad taste of its water. However, this is not the case as the filter was of good physical quality while water dispensed had no noticeable undesired taste or scent. Using the water for my drip drop coffee the next day had a marked improvement of my brew! Would recommend, especially I had previously tried (and subsequently returned) generic replacement filters - a night and day result. Also note that it is also compatible with Kenmore side-by-sides that uses 9030 (which is also the Whirlpool 4396710).
