I have used this brand of filter in my refrigerators in 2 different homes. They are priced very well and do the job as good as the name brand. They install easily. Save the money and buy these instead of the name brands!

I was a bit skeptical about trying these off-brand water filters, but they turned out to be a great decision. They fit my refrigerator perfectly and were easy to install, just like the more expensive brand-name filters. This was the first time that I have purchased this water filter for my GE refrigerator and the filter saved me over $25 and is doing the same job as the name brand one. This item has a built in chip to assure that it will function properly with the smarter GE brands. I saw previous posts stating that this filter was a little shorter than the original one and yes it’s true however it will NOT be a issue as the filter top is the only part that needs to be seated in properly to the refrigerator . The filter comes with monthly stickers to remind you when to replace it which the recommendation is no more than six months. Very pleased with this purchase!

First, let me just say that once this filter was in place, it was fine. This filter seems like a good one, and is much less expensive than the GE one, so I'm happy.That said, the procedure to change this filter out is not at all easy or natural. That's GE's fault, but now that I've actually done it, it should be better next time. Some tricks:1. DO NOT twist the filter AT ALL. It just goes straight in and straight out. It's round, and there are tabs on the back, so the natural inclination, and prior experience scream at you to stick the nozzle in and twist the filter. Resist that urge.2. Perversely, the big label on the back that says "THIS IS THE BACK" actually goes in FACING YOU. Once the filter is stuck in, you fold the whole thing back into the wall of the fridge, and THAT'S when the "THIS IS THE BACK" label will be *hidden* and the "THIS IS THE FRONT" label will be visible. Then you close the cover.3. Before removing the old filter, be sure to rotate the filter AS FAR OUT FROM THE WALL AS IT WILL GO. You will have problems if you don't get the filter holder rotated sufficiently. Yes, this means you will have to move stuff out of the way. Do it anyway. I promise you you will regret it otherwise.Curses to GE for this ridiculous filter design. But within that frame of reference, this is a perfectly fine filter.

It looks like a replacement for the GE but ultimately did not fit you are best to save your money and order the manufacturer filter

This is the third time we have purchased this item from this company. We are extremely happy with the product. It fits our GE French Door refrigerator. It has great tasting water. It has an RFID chip that resets the the digital screen on front of fridge. It’s very easy to install and remove and works just as well if not better than the manufacturer filter very happy with this product and the company will continue to order.
