I don't know if this food is having any benefit to my cat's arthritis, but she sure does love it. The only downside is that it gives her bad diarrhea. Ugh. I don't know that I'd pay this price for it again. Hopefully it is helping her arthritis.

The first can was splattered all over my kitchen. It had a flip top that was hard to remove but on top of that I did not know that it was 90% liquid. It went all over the place when the top finally gave. Usually you get meat with broth. This is broth plus some shreds of chicken. And, it is expensive. Now the cats have even more juice to lick off and leave any solids in the bowl. Very disappointed.* Changed to 1 star because the cats will not even lick the juice!

Cat is 20 years old, diabetic, with insulin and sub cu fluids. This is the only food he will eat, and he has been on it for 18+ months. He loves it, eagerly looks forward to the can opening. As for soupy, yes sometimes it is. Just take a fork and mix it a little I give a lot of credit to this cat food for keeping Berr Cat going for this length of time. Will be ordering more.

My cat had crystals and had to have surgery to remove them. The vet gave me a dry food for prevention in the future. I was reading the ingredients of the vet food and they were junk, and I knew there had to be a better, more natural option out there. I researched and found this food and gave it a try. My cat ate it like she had been starved, it was a hit! I thought my cat was depressed from her surgery but since switching to this food she has her personality back, so I think the vet food was just making her feel crappy. I am glad we found this Evanger’s Restricted Diet Food to help with my cat’s urinary tract, but I’m equally happy to see how much she enjoys eating now.

Well that ended up being a big mistake… super expensive diarrhea. Even trying to give the tiniest amount gives my poor cat horrible upset stomach. I would not suggest for sick elderly cats as their little old bodies cannot handle it. Definitely will not be purchasing again.I would like to add tomato isn’t even safe for cats!!! It has tomato paste in it. Tomato causes vomiting and diarrhea in cats. Do not feed this to your babies.Old review: Two of my older cats have developed urinary problems. One of them is picky and I suspect allergic to chicken. Got her this and she gobbles it up greedily and so happy with the low phosphorus levels to ensure healthy elderly cats. Going to switch all of our cats to this diet for sure

My cat loves this food and the ingredients are so much better than what you get with the “prescription” urinary food from the vet.Have been ordering by the case for months.

We have been searching for a grain-free cat food to feed our cats during Passover, and have tried several different brands and products. This is the best one we've found so far. And it's even certified Kosher for Passover by the Chicago Rabbinical Council (albeit for cats only, not for humans). The cat food has the consistency of vomit. But one of our cats laps it up and seems to really enjoy eating it. The other cat will poke at it with her nose and take an occasional nibble. We will most likely be repeat customers, come next Passover.
