This is simply wonderful and just what we needed! The installation is a breeze because it is just a standard plug and doesn't require direct wiring. The hardest part was dealing with uneven spacing of studs in the kitchen to make sure we were able to install it securely. We ended up having to use the wall anchors. I have noticed that the range hood I ordered is not what is depicted in some other reviews. Maybe the product ASIN has been reassigned to a new product (the one I ordered that has more shallow depth than others shown here). In all, this comes packaged really well. There is blue plastic wrap covering the stainless surface to ensure it doesn't get scuffed and there is plenty of packaging to ensure there are no dings and dents.There are a number of adjustable functions on the fan that make this helpful in a kitchen where someone is almost constantly dropping something on the stovetop while cooking that creates a horrendous smell. The fan is smooth and quiet, the overall finish and aesthetic of this is neat and clean and this is a win, overall, for us!

I was needing a range hood for the little kitchen I had built in the basement and had been shopping for them for awhile hoping to catch one on sale or clearance. The least expensive one I could find around here was around 150 dollars in a stainless steel finish, thats when I saw this one. The price is what grabbed me first and then that it had a 3 speed fan compared to 2 of the others I was looking at I said why not and would give it a try.It comes packaged just like other range hoods and being ductless installation is easy and fast as all it takes is a few screws and you are good to go. They do include a template if needed for top or back mounting the unit to the wall or under a cabinet. They also provide all the necessary hardware in the box with drywall anchors. As a side note this can be installed into duct work taking it from being ductless to being piped vented. The filters that this thing has are much better than the flimsy screen window type ones and are more like the ones you get when you spend four or five hundred dollars, thick and tightly woven. The 5 push button controls on the front are nice and I like them better than the switches a lot of them come with. Those filters also lock into place instead of just being shimmed up in the hood.Powering on the unit the fan is powerful yet it is not loud which is really nice. I was worried about the led light not being enough to light the surface of the stove top but I worried for nothing as it is a good amount of light. The only thing that I didnt like is that they talk about a charcoal filter you can purchase and that you should use it if you choose the recycling air venting but nowhere do they tell you where to purchase this filter. I will be emailing the company asking them about it and see what they have to say but thats it. Nothing else I can think of and I am happy with this hood and for the money this cant be beat.

Over all a good product for the price -looks good and is relatively quiet-only issue with me is the light not as bright as I wanted-I ordered some small lights that are magnetic that I mounted under the hood which helped

Very easy to install or replace an existing hood.Value for the money you spent.Comes only with a pigtail and you have to find and attach a plug. Motor power is enough to take out all the smoke. 2watt LED light not bright. Other than that no issues.
