I'm completely satisfied with this little fridge. The freezer side will hold ice cream solid or make ice. Dual controls lets you use all of it as a freezer, or a fridge, or half half. Good seal on the lid, and the aluminim lined inside is sealed and does not leak water. It looks great, and the lids stay open and close slowly.

This cooler surpassed my expecting and I'm very critical about products. I'm from a family of engineers, so I do have some suggestions for the manufacturer... I put a quart of half & half in the fridge part, (which is great that you can set either side independently) but the cream frozen because I put the flat side of the container flat against the wall of the cooler so the chiller didn't have air circulation same thing happened to the lunch meat. A remedy for this, would be a rubber-coated metal basket. Even if it's a perfect fit, it would be enough space to keep products from freezing. Better yet, have stacking/nesting baskets as an option for those who might want them.Other than that, I'm super impressed with how little the power-draw is for the amount of cooling you get.I use this for cruising the Bahamas in my sail boat, so power consumption was a major consideration.The cooler is VERY well made and attractive. I've been using it for a few weeks before writing this review and it's everything it says. I was really impressed with how fast it chilled down when it was full.I would highly recommend this product!

Storage capacity is quite decent, dual temperature controls is a plus. Design is very sleek doesn't take up much space. Will work perfectly on our yacht.

Cooler has a very elegant, nice design. I like that it is taller than wider so it makes less of a footprint in my van while still providing ample space. Inside is nice, I prefer the metal over plastic. Plugged in, it cooled to 0 on freezing side and 37 on other side in under a half hour. Compressor is extremely quiet. I love the soft close lids and the fact that it is two lids not one. Temp is not exact as the side I set to 37 went to 33 on the control board. Since I don't have a way of measuring independently not sure if internal temp is 37 or 33. I love that it can accommodate various configurations, all cooler, all freezer or both and you can pick which side is which. I appreciate the fact that the plug, controls and air ventilation are all on the one side. No wheels so I don't have to worry about it rolling around when I am driving. Froze a bottle of water with setting on 0 in about two and a half hours. One thing concerns me, it must not be well insulated as the temp rose almost forty degrees within an hour of it being shut off. It was empty though and not far from a heating vent, so that likely contributed. Tried it out with the 12 volt plug in my Solar generator and got comparable results as the wall plug. If I had one wish with this, a basket that goes halfway down for the deeper side would be nice so that you do not have to take everything out individually to get to something on the bottom. I have recently purchased and returned three different 12 volt fridges for various reasons. This one is a true dual zone, dual control. I think I finally found my keeper.

I had a cheaper and smaller fridge made by this company that didn’t quite meet my expectations. I had issues with temperature regulation on the smaller one. I decided to give it one more shot with this bigger 56qt one. It is a true dual-zone fridge/freezer. The right side is the freezer and the left side is the fridge. The temperature probe is much more accurate and responsive. Putting a bottle of warm water in the fridge immediately increases the temperature on the display and starts the compressor.The display on this one dims down when you’ve not touched the buttons. This is great if it’s near a sleeping area.If you’re thinking about one of these chest-fridges for an RV or any permanent installation where food safety is important, don’t get the cheaper versions, it’s not worth the stress of hoping your food is still okay. This is the one you want. A bit more expensive but there’s usually coupons.If I have any issues I will update this but so far it’s great.
