Could have done with a larger head, but it will do the job. I’ll buy an upgrade of this brick hammer!!!

The hammer is incredibly solid and built to last forever. Made quick work of splitting bricks for my landscaping project. Highly recommend!

Solid tool. If your coworkers don't steal it, you will die before this hammer does! Pass it on to your grandchildren.

I drive a ready-mix concrete truck and use this and an Estwing ball peen to chip concerte build up off my truck. This hammer has been great so far 3 months in. No problems at all with the build quality, handle, or hammer head. Obviously my hammer isnt still brand new as ive already put it thru the ringer chipping off my build up but am very happy with both this and the ball peen. would recommend!

The hammer is nice and gets the job done, however it is only a 20 oz hammer and slightly smaller than expected. I am used to using a 22 oz hammer, which doesnt sound like a big difference, but over all this hammer is smaller than average. It does seem to do the job well however, if you need a heavy duty hammer I would recommend atleast a 22 oz if not the 24 oz.

Yes, it's a hammer. You strike things with it that you intend to break or cut. It doesn't need to look perfect or prompt you for a software upgrade. But it will never run out of batteries and chances are, unless you lose it, this hammer will be with you until the end. Sure, you can find a generic masonry hammer for less, but this is worth every penny. The balance and shape of this tool is so nice to me. The feel of the handle, the squared edges, it's all just right. Then there's the benefit of it being made domestically. We've been using it to break and remove old mortar from the stone foundation of a 130 year old house, and it's just right. Don't settle for less. Buy this one and you will not be sorry.

It felt great in my hand and gave me a great day of hunting rocks and digging, but I dulled it heavily on both ends in just one day. The day consisted of 6 hours of digging in a creek bank, trying to chip the edge of many geodes that had chalcedony, microcrystalline quartz, flint, and an agate. I couldn’t believe how much it dulled, but I’ll see if it gives me a second day of fun rock hunting. If it still gives results, I’ll update my rating.
