This is a decent basic pet door that needed a little work to work properly. It was necessary to remove the flap to cut 1/8" off so it didn't rub on the bottom. Also be prepared to cut the steel screws to size ( bolt cutter, hack saw, other). That being said, it's pretty good quality for the money to install in an outdoor cat house, but I would buy a better one to install in a door or house wall. Hope this helps.

I like how strong frame is. First one last me for about 5 years. Flap is okay but will have to replace. Could be thicker and stronger. I lost a tiny screw to flap track i could not find replacement so i contacted company and they sent me new ones free. Super nice customer service had screws in a month Flap was popping out of track when it happened. Thought that would fix it but it didn’t. I had to drill through track and add bolts. Fixed it right up.I do own several dogs. I recently got a goat. Sadly goat is destroying my flap i just bought in last year.

This is plastic junk! States comes with steel screws, they are plastic and each one broke at installation.

This door had all the features we wanted. We installed it in a screen, but we wanted a plastic magnetic flap (not a screen flap). This model is made to fit everything from screens to thick doors, with lots of adaptations....none of which we used because of the screen being thin. We had to cut off the extra bolt length, which we had expected. The only reason I knocked off a star was because I felt that they should have enclosed caps for the cut ends. It also has a locking panel to insert for controlling access.
