Well, this is kinda hard to review. It’s locked tight used too much. You know what happens. Don’t use enough you know what happens.

Very good product. Just as good as more expensive brands. Will buy again.

this is a great alternative to other higher priced lock tight. A little goes a long way. I prep race cars so i use this on a daily basis. Works great is not messy at all. This is the red i believe they make blue too i have had to use heat to remove some bolts but it has a great heat resistance its filling capacity is nice and you can use a little or a lot depending on your application. Excellent locking dispenser lid and makes for precise application on smaller fasteners.

I used two nuts on a piece of 3/8 inch threaded rod as a test case before using this for internal components in my YZ dirtbike. I let it threaded rod sit and cure for 24 hours. The nuts locked up much tighter than I expected for something advertised as removable. I’d say it’s closer to Loctite blue. I’m happy with it. Used it in my engine on all the small retaining screws. Easy application tip. Worked excellent.

Ok, so here goes. For anyone who is confused or just inexperienced, blue thread locker is what most people would use to hold their nuts and bolts in place, or anything that needs a more than temporary setting. Blue is much easier to remove than the red and is more common, however depending on your applications needs red may be the option u need. That being said, i use loc-tite on a number of things, especially my RC cars and drones.Recently I purchased a new Traxxas XRT and found that although the pinion gear comes from the factory with blue loctite u actually need/should use red. I used the standard red-271 and found that I was unable to get the pinion gear to stay seated for more than one run. Sometimes even that was difficult. I stripped many farts because of this until I looked into red loc-tite (272). This is supposed to be used for a more permanent solution and or for higher temps, and or heavy vibration or excessive hits, bumps whatever. It actually is a bit thicker too. Although it was only a small difference, it ended up making a large difference as it held great for nearly 3 different race sessions.Obviously don’t use this for everything but if u are having problem getting set or grub screws to stay in place, think about using this.Works very well!!

My main use for this if for a little RC helicopter that holds super tiny screws that gets a lot of vibration, i have tried several types of thread lockers for over a year, non were working, until i tried this one, and i have flown my little helicopter countless times and finally my mini rc helicopter blades or not coming off.I'm extremely happy about this.I run a small RC helicopter that runs at very high RPM and several previous thread lockers would only work for a few flights then the mini screws well get loose and heli blades will just come off. This product has finally held the mini screws in place. I'm very happy about this product, extremely happy after more than a year trying different thread lockers, finally found one that holds the super tiny mini screws in place. The screws are so tiny that if i drop the screw while holding it, they are hard to find. So yes, super tiny. Great thread locker, super strong.
