I thought these would be a healthier version for my homemade candles but the stench and tall burn of these wicks is ridiculous. Waste of money.

Used with beeswax and burned perfectly as long as you keep them trimmed.

I use these for poured container candles made with soy wax. My candles burn nicely and evenly with these wicks.

These wicks last and last and melt the candles all the way down. Some cheap candles leave a lot of wax on the sides. I scraped off the wax of all those candles, reused a candle jar with all the scrapings and have a new candle with this wick - it worked GREAT. I hate wasting and this solves the problem. The wick itself does not burn away quickly. It lasts a long time allowing the candle to burn down all the way and the flame is big such that all the wax on the walls burns down too. NO waste.

good quality and easy-to-use wicks coated well they are sturdy but flexible but need to be trimmed they get flamed easily but the flame indeed is at low temperatures if you first use it and the wick long it will burn at large flame however it will still be a gentle fire (I use and test it on beeswax without anything just beeswax) but I won't recommend using in a glass container I only use wide metal votive metal candle holders it may not be very decorative but safety should come first, along with a plate beneath and never on a tablecloth that is flammable or cloth better directly at the table best will be a stone table, it's worth noting also even if you use beeswax the more higher the flame the more oxygen burns even if the beeswax clean the air and the wick is good and healthy, so for rooms better short trimmed, if you look for very small flame those wicks will probably never give small flame only between mid to low or high, note after observing after a certain time if trimmed it will be mid to nearly high flame so better use that wick in open spaces however due to the flame temperature the wax won't burn quickly at all yet provide strong light but high oxygen burn.

I am very happy with these wicks! I have found them to be perfect in my 4 ounce , 2 inch diameter jar candles. You can't just stick any wick in any candle. If you use a wick that is too small, your candle will tunnel (only burning in the middle around the wick). And if you choose a wick that is too big you'll have a big, flickering flame that burns your candle down too fast! I used a soy and beeswax blend and scented my candles with essential oils. I've made a few lemon basil candles. Mine burned great, and the candles I gifted are burning perfect too, (say the recipients). I just made a blue tansy candle using one of these wicks and I will attach a photo. I've only used these wicks for candles that are 2 inch in diameter, 4 ounces, with beeswax/soy wax blend, scented with essential oils, so I can't say whether they'd work well in other candles. There are a lot of variables that goes into choosing the perfect wick for your candle; the type of wax your using, if your scenting it with fragrances or essential oils, what size, weight and diameter the candle will be, if your using a cotton or hemp wick, etc., so I have found experimentation to be the answer! And if it doesn't work out I melt the wax down and try again! I'm going to try these wicks in 2 ounce, 2 inch diameter candles tonight. I won't know how it will burn until the candle cures, but I will update my review with results when I do! I can say there was no to low smoke and a perfect flame and burn with my lemon basil candles! I've also attached a photo one of the lemon basil candles I've burned with this wick.
