CD (Stabilo) wick is a cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton. The wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads, especially with softer natural waxes. it stays straight, making it easier to pour wax and keeping the wick standing tall because of the wick's rigidity.

These wicks work perfectly and are easy to use. I make our candles with soy wax, and these complement my process well. The burn is clean and without smoke. At $.10/each these are a good buy.

Wicks come out way too often. The wick burns nice, but geez if u can even glue the wick down without it come from the base.

I made some emergency candles using generic paraffin wax and glass condiment/food jars I had been saving, and these wicks worked well. For some of the larger jars, I think having a larger wick would have been more ideal, but they seem to burn okay regardless - the most common jar size I had was a jelly jar or salsa, and I do think having a slightly thicker wick might have been a bit better.The quality is good - the whole bag seems to be consistent and I haven't found any duds. The ones I've used seemed to do great and they lit up without any fuss.Overall worth it. Although I wish they sold a variety pack, the size I got worked well for my project. I would get these again.

CD wicks are my alternative to ECO when making soy candles. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was I received a bad batch. The some of the wicks were not tightly crimped to the wick tab, thus coming loose after pouring and straightening in the wick holder.

These wicks make it so easy to make your own homemade candles to use, sell or gift to family & friends. Just melt your wax, add a scent & color, then pour into a form with a wick already in place. You can have beautiful candles just like that. Wicks are great to have on hand in the event you have other candles that have burned down, but still have wax left. Just grab a wick & put it into a vessel, and fill it up with the melted leftover wax. Boom! No waste & you have a new candle to burn our give away.
