We have had two Equator refrigerator drawers for about seven months. One of the units arrived pretty badly out of square. We were able to get it mostly fixed and Equator offered a small discount. We have since had to insulate the condenser pipes as they were dripping in the summer heat and we have also put insulation on the backs of the units because they condensated and the units were loud. I am also about to defrost the allegedly auto-defrost units for a second time. The drawers pull out farther on one unit than the other, farther is better. And the super sensitive temperature controls on the top of the top drawers are very easy to trigger. Other than all that, they are pretty good.Update: It is November 12, 2024 and I am defrosting again. Do not buy this product if you want auto-defrost refrigerator drawers.

We purchased this fridge / freezer and after about 8 months the freezer wouldn't hold it's temp. We reached out to the manufacturer who said they would send someone to look at it and repair it. They arranged for a appliance repair shop to come out who has promised to order the part and come and install it for the last 2 months. Still no part and still no repair. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Bought this on another site but came here to warn people. After 48 days of use the unit iced up, the drawer wouldn't close and freezer function on that drawer stopped working. What is even more frustrating is the "customer support." The company is located in Texas but calls, emails and texts were never returned except for once days later. No interest at all in being responsive much less trying to fix the unit (handyman said defrost function had failed). Avoid.

Great appliance for the money and wonderful support. The only issue is that my arm always hits the settings panel and seems to turn off the device. It would be nice to have a feature to lock the temp/settings!

This is a replacement for a 20 year old fridge with ice maker. Most reviews complained about problems with ice makers on all brands of under counter freezer-fridges so we opted for this 2 drawer no ice maker fridge with the option to use the top as a freezer. We are glad we did. It’s been in our bar for 2 months with regular use. The top freezer keeps ice from our ice maker frozen for weeks and there is enough room to quickly chill a bottle or 2 of wine as well. Fridge drawer is very nice and roomy. It is attractive and sleek with its recessed handles. Delivery was as promised and the Equator assistant was knowledgeable and efficient. Installation was a breeze. Directions were clear and concise. All in all a very happy buyer here!
