When first applied the color is nice. Unfortunately it does last for the whole season.

This product has saved me many back breaking hours of remulching my flower beds! Going to the hardware store, hauling 7-10 bags of mulch home and spending a whole day remulching is exhausting! After a few heavy rains and couple months of hot sunny days, the mulch always fades and never looks fresh anymore. This mulch dye has totally changed the game and is so easy to apply with a sprayer. Makes my flower beds look fresh again and again! This is my second bottle as I finished the first one last year! I have told all my friends and family about it!

But two bottles to refresh our mulch. You definitely want to wear gloves and old clothes as this can be messy.Really needs to be shaken/stirred througly before opening or you may have clumps which splatter (messy)I used a 2 gallon hand sprayer. If doing a lot, recommend gettng a battery or corded sprayer. (Tiring some when ya not 20 anymore)It is recommended to use 2-3 applications depending on condition of mulch (hence recommendation for battery powered sprayer., manual pump like I have is tiringGood peridot. Would buy again

I applied 3 coats on a sunny day. Dry time in between coats was fast. My result was the much deeper and richer color that I was looking for. I added a 1/2oz more per gallon, and I’m completely satisfied with the result. Definitely get this if you’re looking for the same result!

Mixed this in a one gallon sprayer and it works marvelously. One gallon did my entire front bed that is 4 by 60. Looks like I changed all the bark for new.

Easy to use, is the same color as the mulch! Impossible to tell the painted mulch from the new mulch.

This dye was a great option for a DIY landscaping project! Ended up mixing the dye and mulch in a wheel barrow instead of using a sprayer. A little more physical work, but better coloring and faster than using the sprayer.Nice burnt red color with a couple coats. Check your city's parks and rec to find free mulch and dye it to match your style!

Really liking this mulch color so far!PROS:- It's vibrant. It's brighter and seems to stay red longer than actual red mulch you buy at the store (which faded faster under the direct sunlight and rain).- So far, it's held up well through rain. No color running that I've noticed (with that being said, make sure you plan a day where there will be no rain for at LEAST 24 hours. 48 is even better).- I had no trouble mixing this and spraying it (with a standard sprayer that you would usually use for pesticides or weed killer - with that being said, because it's a 'paint', despite being mixed with water, you'll still need to clean the sprayer well, or it clogs.)- Please see the attached pic, my yard had grayed out mulch (that used to be 'cedar' colored.) I've had quite a few neighbors already tell me how much better it looks. My yard is still under construction, but this seriously made it pop and look beautiful! (You'll also notice that I got a little lazy and sprayed over some leaves as well, while doing the yard, hah).CONS:- Very messy clean up. You'll need to have a dirt area (NOT concrete - it stains fast) where you can rinse out the sprayer. Red colored solution will run for awhile before turning clear. Wear clothes that can get messy. It will stain.- You'll want to make a couple passes over mulch (at least). If anyone steps on the mulch and lifts wood pieces, the old faded color is instantly noticeable against the red. I highly recommend spraying a coat, waiting a few days, then spraying a second. This helps coat more angles of each 'wood chunk' of mulch.Overall, I'm very happy with the results! My front yard has a LOT of mulch - both sides of the sidewalk have mulch instead of grass too. And so far I've only needed 2 bottles of this product (1 which is still nearly full). THis is going over with 2 coats too. It goes a long way.PICTURE 1: Front yard with 2 coats. PICTURE 2: before and after color, to give you an idea of what I started working with. There is only a fast, once-over of red mulch spray. The end result looks much better after 2 full coats were done.
