Even though I have naturally soft water, with no scale on my bathroom fixtures and appliances, I had significant white dust from my cool mist humidifier. I ordered these to supposedly combat this issue. After 24 hours of use, everything is coated and I’m spending an afternoon cleaning everything. Waste of money in my case.

New humidifier needs these due to hard water. Only about a quarter of the cost compared to company ones. As you replace them monthly, the savings are nice

This brand works better than any I have tried so far. I think that's because it is BOTH a cleaner and a demineralizer. I have a smallish humidifier and putting 2 different cartridges in there is definitely too much. This works great! I am so happy with it and it's only 1 cartridge instead of 2.

These work great. I don't have the traditional "white dust" I typically get when I first start using the humidifiers in the winter. So far, they have performed as I had hoped. They are very cost effective and are a fraction of the cost for the brand of humidifier I purchased. I purchased a 20 pack, so I expect they will last me through the winter season for 3 humidifiers.

I used the first two pellets in my humidifier last evening and ran it overnight as usual. The results were gratifying! There was hardly a trace of white dust on the humidifier itself, which had been covered before. I'm hoping these continue to work.Two weeks later: it only worked that first night; after that white dust everywhere! I have now added more pellets (8) in all and it is taking care of the white dust. So the water here is really hard, so it took this many to work. However, I’m happy that it does work!!If anyone knows of other brands that work better, please post. Thank you!
