Your cart is empty.Our Essick Air humidifier Bacteriostatic treatment helps to control bacteria and algae growth in evaporative humidifiers. When filling the humidifier, use 1/6 fluid ounce (approx. 1/8 capful) Bacteriostatic treatment per gallon of water. Repeat process when refilling. Regular use will eliminate bacteria/algae growth and keep your unit smelling good.

Used this exact stuff for many years in my whole house Bemis console humidifier. I try to keep the humidity level between 30% and 50% to keep everyone healthy. Absolutely no mold in the tanks or wick with this product. Probably mix 6 gallons of water a day during the peak winter months. You only need a small amount to do the job. I use a smaller bottle to pour easier into the tanks. Probably use about 3 quarts during a long cold winter (November to April) before I shut it down in the spring. Great product!

If you have a room humidifier this product will keep your filters from calcifying and having to be changed frequently. You add a tiny amount to each water fill which much less expensive than having to purchase new filters frequently.

J'ajoute tel que recommandé par le manufacturier la quantité dans chacun de mes humidificateurs.de plus, ça laisse une très petite odeur de fraicheur et effectivement, il y a beaucoup moins de calcaire qui s'infiltre sur les rebords et l'eau reste propre plus longtemps.Évidemment, j'ajoute de l'eau tous les jours dans mes humidificateurs donc, il est donc difficile pour l'eau de devenir pas bonne.Je trouve ça efficace.

the product is good for adding to a tank of water on portable humidifier to help the air and purify the air so the house does not get too dry. Easy to use, and can buy it locally from Menards or buy it direct from Essick. The only real problem that I have is, Menards as a retailer usually does not keep alot of it on hand. So, I have to plan out when I order it direct from Essick to ensure I have enough product when I run out.

We use Essick Air on a regular basis ie. each time water is added to the humidifier. Our air filter remains clear of mold spores. The product has not been found to add any scent to the air. No complaints!

Product seems to be ok except when it was delivered we were not notified that it was coming & finally found it at the door frozen (all 4 bottles) so I don’t know if it’s working or not- next time ring the door bell!
