I had to change the LED resistors R3 and R4 from 22 ohm to 680 ohm to get the brightness under control.

This timer switch works well. Installation straight forward. However, be aware the LED lights are very bright. Obnoxiously bright to the point of having to find another switch for our bathroom.

Switch works perfectly. I’ve had one in use for a year now. One potential drawback is the blue lights are very bright. So the switch doesn’t just blend into the wall discreetly. They work well as a subtle night light if you need that.

I have installed three of these in our house. Great for kids or people that enjoy long showers - helps keep the moisture down in the room and doesn't get left on all day. The LED light accent lights on the switch make it easy to see at night.Very easy to install with the provided instructions. My first one was installed three years ago and is still working perfectly.

I installed the timer a few days ago. Here are my first impressions:1. It works well, the six selection times, from 1 to 30 minutes, are good for a bathroom fan.2. The white color matches my Lutron switch and wall plate.3. It was easy to install. It is a four-wire installation. Ground, Neutral, Hot, and Load. Not all switch boxes include a neutral wire. If you do not have a neutral wire wire, you might be able to get away with connecting the neutral wire to ground, but I am not sure that is legal, and it may trip a GFCI. It would be best to not use it without a neutral in your box.4. It has six large buttons to select one of six different times. There is also a large button to turn on the last time selected, or to shut it off early.5. It looks okay, but it lacks elegance, (I cannot explain why).6. It has blue lights, which are on all the time. That may be fine in some applications. In by master bathroom, I find it to be too bright. If you want the switch to double as a night light this may be fine for you. For a night light, I prefer a softer color, like red, orange, or 3000K LED.

This timer switch is easy to install and works as advertised. The 6 buttons for selecting time on are a nice feature and work well. I use it to control a bathroom fan. It is a good replacement for old twist style mechanical timers. I have had two for more than a year with no issues. The only cautionary thing to note is that the blue indicator LEDs are quite bright and are on all the time. I would not use it in a bedroom or anyplace that you would want to remain dark. Of course, you need to follow instructions regarding the load.

I bought three of these to control my bathroom exhaust fans. The price was fair for this type of switch. These are made in China. They are UL listed. There is a two-year warranty. The installation instructions included are easy to understand, especially the wiring diagram. Follow them! Turn off the electricity for the circuit at the breaker. You must have a white neutral wire in the box for this switch to work. In my case (I installed mine in a box with more than one switch), all the white wires were bundled together with a wire nut and shoved to the back of the box. Look for the white wire(s). I had two black wires going to the existing switch: one was for the line (supplying electricity to the switch) and one was for the load (sending electricity to the fan/light when switched on). If not labeled, to determine which is which, you can use a volt-ohm meter. Be careful because you will have to turn the power back on to test this. With the switch off, make contact with a white wire with one VOM probe and with the other probe touch the black wire. Whichever black wire reads voltage, that’s the line wire. The other black wire that reads no voltage with the switch off is the load. Before proceeding, turn off the electricity at the breaker. Now it’s just a simple matter of following the wiring diagram and matching the colors. Use the included wire nuts and securely twist them down on the wires you’re connecting. Operation is almost self-explanatory. The switch has blue LED lights that function as night lights (they can be a bit bright). People leave fans running and walk away. These stop that problem and save on electricity.

Looked high & low for a reasonably priced ivory bathroom fan timer control switch. This seems to fit the bill just right. What I love most about it is you select the time to run, & then just use the on/off after that over & over again to control it. And really, some people have gone on about the brightness of the 2 blue lights that's on this model: 0 to 30 minutes, that you can't turn off. But, I really don't find it all that bright. They have another one from 0 to 4hrs. that you can program the lights off if it's really going to bother you. I called the company before buying to find out the depth it sits in the electrical box, as I couldn't find the info here, or even on the manufacturers web site. I'll share it here, as the courteous young man on the end of the line was kind enough to measure it being 1.5 inches/3.81 cm deep from the setting ears to the back/bottom of the switch. It fit without any problems & room behind it to spare in the electrical box. Also, yes you need a neutral wire to make it work properly, but this isn't an issue if wired between the circuit breaker & the fan it's going to control, meaning, a power in black(power)/white(neutral)/ground to the switch & a power out black(load)/white(neutral)/ground from the switch to the fan. If the switch is after the fan on the circuit & at the end of that run then you'll need a black/red/white/ground to control the fan & for this switch to function properly. If not practical to change the wiring if the latter is the installation then a mechanical/spring wind up is your better option which in my case, this switch has replaced.

Installation was simple. The warning to anyone who has not installed any sort of "smart" switch is that the "body" of any of these switches (the part hidden behind the plate) is generally much larger, including much deeper, than a simple rocker switch. This means that you must sometimes struggle a bit to fit all the wiring back into the box. But, in this respect this switch was the same as others of this class.Once installed, operation is very straightforward and simple. There is a lower "main" button, and above it six small buttons labeled for "on" durations ranging from 1 minute to 30 minutes. (In my case this is used for a bathroom fan, so this range of durations is perfect)So for example, to run the fan for 5 minutes, it is as simple as a quick press of the button labeled "5 min".The blue light next to the button with be lit, and just a bit before the timer expires, the light will begin to flash, and then the fan will go off, and the light goes back to solid blue. The next time you use the switch, two buttons will be lit- the one for five minutes, and the light on the main button. Pressing either button will begin 5 minutes of "on" time. Again, the button for "5 min" will start to flash when time is almost up.However, if you want any of the other times, it is as simple as pushing that other button, and the switch will be on for that indicated time. Easy!Altering time while the fan is already running: Just push another of the small time buttons, and that new time will take over. Or, if you want to stop the fan, just press the large "main" button and the timer will turn off. Easy!To just turn the switch "on" without any specified time run, just press and hold the main button a couple of seconds, and the fan will be "on" until you press the large button again to turn it off.I am 100% satisfied with this switch!
