I wish I'd had this on my Ender 3 Pro a long time ago. I use PLA, and this plate gives great printing adhesion and easy release. What more can you ask for?

So much nicer than the stock build plate. I have had Zero adhesion issues. and parts just pop off once the plate has time to cool. If I happen to be in a hurry I can always still pop it of and a little flex will pop parts off as well.

Easy install, just make sure you clean the metal bed with isopropyl alcohol or similar before adhering the magnetic sheet.Prints adhere decently and release easily to PEI sheet. There were a few imperfections on the edges of PEI sheet that I received (see photos), but they are outside of print area so not a huge problem. I just wanted to get printing so I didn't exchange.

I was having a lot of issues with prints sticking so solidly to the original bed that it was ripping the coating off - so after following a recommendation on the Ender reddit, I purchased a 2 pack of these. Right away the prints come off very smoothly with minimal effort, but none have come loose during printing. I also love the texture that the bottom of the prints pick up. Great quality product!!

I love how the texture of the bed helps hold my prints down - it doesn't leave a perfectly smooth surface on the bottom like glass beds do, but I prefer the slight texture the bed creates. The magnet is strong, so the plate isn't going to shift while printing. But it also pulls up smoothly when needing to remove the part. It has some good flex while off the bed. It's a great upgrade from the glass bed

The PEI spring steel build plate for the Ender 3 series has been a great upgrade for my 3D printer. The magnetic and flexible design makes it easy to remove prints, and the PEI surface gives excellent adhesion for a wide range of filament types. I’ve had fewer issues with warping, and the textured finish adds a nice touch to the final prints. It fits perfectly on my Ender 3 V3 and heats up evenly. Overall, it’s been reliable and well worth the investment for smoother prints. I think it’s super easy to remove prints now.

I would make sure you wash the plate with soap that has no fragrance and water before your first use. The diamond side had a protective film on it and I had no problems with adhesion on first use. I tried the carbon fiber side and had some issues with prints sticking. Once I washed it really good and used the Smooth build plate setting it has had good adhesion since then. Great plates to have and easier to install than the sticker based ones that Bambu has.

I have an Ender 3 and i have had so many issues with glass beds. I hated it. There was always an issue with adhesion. First layers would just float up to the nozzle and never get stuck to the bed. I liked the bit of flex of the original bed that came with the ender 3 but that gave a rough surface on my prints and also it would be really hard to take off at times as I would use an small exacto knife to cut off prints. Finally i ordered this and it adheres perfectly. No issues. I never even roughed it up with sandpaper. Just printed it right out of the box. Only issues i have are printer or settings related.Other then that this adheres so well and so smooth. Will never go to glass again. I wasted money buying another glass bed because the other one i had scratched up bad because of adhering issues i had to get the nozzle so close to the bed. Those are the worst. And you need to apply glue for your prints to adhere to glass which i dont want to do.Anyways. Great product. Am sticking to these now.

I’ve been printing PLA and PETG with the Creality glass bed. It works great. Perfect first layer every time. However, since I started printing ABS for my Voron build it won’t stick to the glass. Pulled the trigger on this PEI bed. The ABS instantly goes on and stop warping.Despite what other reviewers are saying about the glass bed. I highly recommend it for PLA and PETG. The reason is that the glass bed is way more durable. I am 2 rolls into my ABS and the PEI surface is showing signs of wear. Despite being very careful and letting the parts come off the bed without any force. On the other hand, I am on my second year with the glass bed. This bed would be a no brainer if there is a cheap way to resurface the PEI layer. The other bonus is being metal, it stays on the magnetic bed without needing clips. You get the full 230!

I bought an Ender 3 Pro, and soon the original magnetic build plate started giving me issues. It was never perfectly flat and level. I bought a fancy borosilicate glass bed and applied a PEI sheet on top of that. This gave me a perfectly flat bed with terrific adhesion, but the problem was sometimes the adhesion was too good and it was difficult to remove parts without marring them or the PEI sheet. In addition, the glass was heavy and limited how fast I could print. And I had to deal with binder clips. I finally got tired of it and started investigating spring steel plates like this one. I read a lot of reviews and could not decide which one to buy. I finally decided on this one because I could get it fairly quickly, and I figured if it was terrible I would return it. I am sure glad I picked this one.Wow. I wish this would have been my very first mod for my printer. I have done a LOT of mods to my printer now, but this is probably going to be at the top of my list for the best ones. The print surface is flat and level, and attaches nicely with the magnet. It is very easy to take the plate off and put it back on. And with a little flex of the plate, prints pop right off. I previously removed the stock magnetic surface from my build plate, so I was glad they included a new one with this plate. It was easy to apply and stuck well.Based on all the previous reviews I read, I was not sure what to expect about this protective film I would have to remove. There was a plastic film stuck over the top that to me, was QUITE clear that it needed to be remove and it was a protective piece of plastic. If anyone can't figure this out, what business do they have owning a 3D printer? Ignore all the other reviews making this sound difficult. It's obvious what needs to be peeled off. Peel it off and move on.After removing the protective film, I started to think there was another layer that needed to be peeled off (all those other reviews were in the back of my head still). But after some careful scraping with a knife in a corner, I decided that was not the case and the only thing left was the PEI itself. The reason I thought maybe more needed to peel off was that there was some damage/pitting on the PEI sheet, but it is all pretty close to the edge and shouldn't really affect printing as I rarely go all the way to the edge.I was going to include some pictures with this review, but that option seems to be gone. Anyways, this is a fantastic build plate and you should buy it!
