Pretty much exactly like every other emergency exit sign out there. When the price is right, grab it! This light performs like it's supposed to. Installation is intuitive. Battery backup works as it should.

I’ve got a large heated barn. When the power goes out, it’s dark AF in there. I got one of these for each exit, and another for the top of the stairs in the attic. I’ve wired a standard 110 plug on them, and they get plugged in. If power goes out, they light up. Battery, out of the box, lit up for over an hour.Build quality is pretty good. I’m in my 60s and I expect these to outlast me. It is a piece of mind to know that if the power goes out (which it has several times) I will not be stumbling around in the dark looking for a light switch. There is a light switch by ejects at door and this exit light is by each door. For this price, I think this is a very good value and I’m giving it five stars.

I like that it is green and different than most. It does have a battery back up for the little spot lights thats suprisingly bright. Its not really heavy duty by any means but for the price point i didnt expect that. But it also doesnt feel overly cheap either. One of the guys at my station installed with ease and it works great. Got my hands on a couple to put inside our bathrooms as we lose power alot and have to switch to back generator. It looks nice and again fairly bright too. Great light for a tight budget. Id definatey recommend!

The amount of times I've gone into my garage without power during construction on my house and forgot, then bashed my legs on stuff until I found the door...its a lot. No more though with this. Any time the power is cut, it kicks on for quite a while until the service is back up. I had an electrician, HVAC guy, and a few other crews working on the house so they kept needing to cut power. If I didn't have my flashlight I was in for a dark walk through a garage packed with stuff. Nice and bright, everything is LED now of days and we have that technology down pretty good. Decent enough battery backup to last a few hours while I was waiting for them to flip the breaker back on. Nice safety in the event you need to egress in a power outage. Great for the home or business.

This exit sign was well packaged. It has a second plate to make the sign two sided. It is solid plastic and feels durable. Overall it is a good quality. The only odd thing is the stand to install it is on the inside of the sign. I would not have found it, if I hadn’t heard it rattling around and pried it open to see what was happening. It made it compact to ship, but might be problematic for some.

I donated this to my place of employment since they use similar exit signs in an outbuilding. It was a good fit- I only needed to use the front cover since that was the damaged part.

Whether adding a new unit, or replacing an older incandescent exit lamp system, this makes a great unit to install. Lightweight and bright, and decent battery life in event of a power failure.
